I had the chilli eggs and would heartily recommend: just the right amount of kick and full of flavour. Hubby had the brioche french toast, slightly elevated from your typical fare by the delicious addition of pear compote and coconut custard. A must have for all the sweet tooths out there. The prices were maybe a touch on the dearer side (think tourist pricing) though I personally think reasonable enough for the quality. As far as atmosphere think ecclectic-bush-hole-in-the-wall; a big tick in my book. With a laid-back, chill vibe it's perfect for a long, gossipy cuppa or just a quick bite to eat. Of note and one of the HUGE highlights for me was the picturesque native cockatoo viewing: free with lunch. The interior of the cafe has a section with this glorious picture window showing the local winged residents chilling, pruning and putting on a free show. It was as unexpected as it was delightful. I'll definitely be back: the high tea is calling my name.

Service is excellent despite the very high table turn over. There are even benches out front for people too wait. Food wise I have to try their asparagus chicken cheese bread and their cottage pie!!! Really good!! The jam n scones?? Which is what they're known for.. IMHO not the best bUt give it a go and make up ur own mind.

Okay experience. Gardens were smallish. Food and coffee prices as expected for a touristy place…read more Lavenders I was expecting more. The place might be on a China tour group plan. Staff seem to let these PRC aunties do what they want. Including pump up Britney's hit me one more time on repeat to do a lousy 'walk' routine blocking cars and car park. That spoiled the whole ambience of the place. Especially when you have a few of them yell out across one side to the other. When I asked staff is this normal she smiled at me me and said sorry they'll finish soon!!
