    New Brighton restaurant , first and definatley last visit!…read moreWe are following the direction on the till receipt to spread the word, well Prezzo will live to regret adding it to their customers till receipts! As we were being shown to a table, we had to walk past an array of finished meals with all the dirty dishes and dirty napkins piled up on each table we passed. Looked like someone had shouted Fire! And everyone had run out and left the tables there was that many! As I am disabled, a near if there had been a cleared one would have been better. As we sat down, I looked around expecting to see a mad busy restaurant with staff running around with lots of customers to explain this lack of house keeping. But no. Two waiters, and two chefs was all I could see, and only 12 tables with a maximum of 3 tables of four people the rest were couples, not really busy. Ordered food, and sat back in horror to watch the madness that followed. The waitress was so busy returning wrong orders, missing meals, missing drinks it explained the growing stack of dirty tables, but was totally avoidable by doing things right in the first place. When our food arrived, my husband had ordered garlic bread with cheese. What a sad looking meal. A half piece of flat bread with no dressing or salad, just a sad little bit of bread. I shared my dressing with him. Several other tables were being given mains before their starters had even arrived, no apologies but the comment we heard was, well it's what you ordered! The waitress had sleeves rolled up displaying armsful of tattoos and jangling braclets with little charms hanging down and worst of all chewing gum with an open mouth! Gives the impression of a greasy spoon joint. Out mains like most others were returned as they had been sitting waiting to be served for so long, they arrived Luke warm. After calling the waitress over told her the problem, she huffed and picked the plates up and marched off. She returned with fresh food and plonked the plates down with no apologies and stropped off again. Not even once did anyone ask if everything was alright or if we would like more drinks. As we paid for the bill, she pulled the receipt out of the machine and simply threw it across the table and again stropped off, not even thank you. As we were leaving the restaurant, my husband said thank you and goodbye to the manager who just looked up from his phone and went back to it without comment or acknowledgement. That was the icing on the cake. AVOID THIS PLACE TOTALLY OBLIVIOUS TO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR COMMON CURTESY!!!!!

This…read morevisit ruined an annual family visit and it's just so dissapointing I almost can't believe it happened. We arrived as a party of 8 at 1:30pm to a restaurant in complete meltdown. This was despite the fact that the restaurant was half empty. We were told by the manager that there was a wait on food. We said that's fine and we ordered some drinks whilst we waited. In the time we were waiting the manager who greeted us dropped two sets of drinks on the floor, one of which narrowly missed a child. Other people were complaining and walking out as they hadnt been spoken to despite being seated half an hour earlier. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited. Our drinks took half an hour to arrive and the starters came out shortly after. The starters were honestly not bad but that is the only positive I can glean. We then waited nearly an hour for our mains to come between courses, the servers wouldn't even come near to the table for drinks orders. All of a sudden there's a crash from the kitchen and the manager has dropped some of our meals on the floor. Not only that but some dishes have been completely forgotten. We were presented with two undercooked pizzas (the dough was almost a liquid) an uncooked veggie burger (frozen in the middle) and a carbonara minus the sauce (the only liquid was the water they hadn't drained from the pizza. The lasagna was forgotten completely and had to be cooked separately. Whilst two members of our party ate, the rest of us had to sit whilst the manager avoided us. The food went back and she offered to remove it from the bill along with a discount. We then realised drinks had been added that we didn't order! She offered free deserts but we just wanted to leave. We saw at least 4 tables walk out during this time. The staff who are running this restaurant are clumsy to the point where it's dangerous and incapable to the point where it's embarrassing. Why are people working here and running this franchise when they clearly cannot do the job of either cooking food past raw or even slightly correctly or even carry plates safely. Clearly they were understaffed and that always lies with upper management failing to adequately budget for busier days and that just cheapens the brand when the service collapses. As an ex head chef and industry veteran. I strongly urge regional management to investigate and sort this out before someone is hurt from glassware or gets sick. I loved your franchise and Lancaster and Chester branches we're regular places to eat but never again. Sort it out lads.
