There was something so sweet & simple about that. I wish you would see that more in the states. The gelato flavors change what seems like every day or every few days. I came here a few times during my trip and every time there were new specialty flavors on the board. Overall, most of the gelato flavors were too sweet for my liking but I was able to find a few that were palatable - bounty being one of them. The only reason I give it three stars is because of that, most flavors were too sweet. If that's your thing then you may love this place. I love that they stay open really late as well. In a city where most stuff closes early compared to what I'm used to, I did appreciate being able to get late night gelato especially because I love ice cream!

If you like vanilla and caramel check out Ritz Carlton (another favourite), and the Cherry Ripe will kill you dead. Tea is sold in bags of 50g, 100g, etc. so you can try a little of everything and stock up on your best ones later. The staff know their stuff. One time Sid even made up a custom blend for me! so that's a thing that's available if you want to take your tea to the next level. It's a little sad that they've moved and lost the cafe part that made it so special; now they're tucked away in a little arcade-y bit and it took me a while of wandering around to find them. They still have a range of teapots and teacups and cannisters and such for sale.

T2 exudes an exotic and luxurious vibe, the shell of the shop painted deep black to accent all of the wonderful colours of the tea wares and peppy packaging. VERY easy to spend a lot of money here, as most teas are at least $12 a box (50-100g depending on the tea), and it is hard to leave with just one. A great thing about this store is that there is always 5 or 6 different teas brewed up waiting for you to sample at the front of the shop, and the staff are always courteous and helpful. This week I'm loving "Ayurvedic Herbal Chai" and "Honey Honey", and "Liquorice Legs" is one of my all time favourites. Come and get your tea on!

However, went for my first breakfast the other day and was very disappointed. Smashed avocado on toast for $14.90! The poached eggs were good but were served on rye bread with the slightest spread of avocado I have ever experienced. A small half a grilled tomato was also served as a side. This was a rip off! To top this off, the management here are not checking QR Code or Vaccination Status on entry to the cafe. I won't be returning here again.

Well, it really came down to that really strong pot of tea that I got, namely because they were more than happy to provide me with some extra hot water to deal with it. Other than that this place was okay, and the breakfast wasn't bad either. Still, I won't necessarily say that it happens to be a favourite, except for the service of course.
