Lovely place and lovely (unmasked) employees. We got to taste so many delicious oils and vinegars. They also have a cocktail bar with drinks (mocktails included) made from their vinegars. Prices are good. Little sitting area and a little bar. Be warned THE EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS ARE NOT MASKED. I don't understand how a business can operate these days without putting their employees (who are constantly in your face offering tastings and suggestions) in masks. There's also a "jesus" sign in there so maybe jesus is protecting them. Not me, I kept my mask on.

The ravioli (a regional specialty) was crispy and came with a red sauce. I asked for my steak to be medium (and specifically said pink throughout). The "sautéed mushrooms" were from a can. There were almost no peppers. When I pointed out the overdone steak to the waitress, she said they get different cooks on the back and she said she would discount the bill (by $2) but did not offer to bring out a medium cooked steak. This was a while back. Hopefully the food quality has improved because the view is truly wonderful.

She did a good job though. Came here for our anniversary, and when making the reservation they ask if it's a special occasion, so we told. They never said anything or did anything special, no big deal but why ask. The first course was delicious bread and butter. And something else I'm forgetting. The one slice of bread they give should have been a warning sign. Between the two of us we ordered everything on the menu. Minus the wine/cockrails, we don't drink. I order a phenomenal lemonade though. I said "holy shit" when I took my first sip. The food was very good but the portions were so small I didn't feel like I could really establish if I liked something or not. It was unique food which is fun but i couldn't tell you if i found something new because there wasn't enough to appreciate it. It was beautifully presented and much of it was really delicious. The desserts especially. By the end of the meal we were both still hungry. It's kind of a rule for me if you're going to go out to a fancy place and spend the money you Really should not leave hungry. I would give this place 1 star for that alone but it's in a small town and I just can't. The peanut butter cookies they talk up at the end honestly felt like kind of a joke they were so small. It was literally someone's thumbprint size. You get one. We both looked at each other and laughed. We had fun but be prepared to go home and make a second dinner. Or there's always Taco Bell.

They have a parking lot too or you can opt for street parking. Celebrated my birthday here and really loved the cocktail offerings, food, and service. I got the hot take and my partner got the golden coast both delicious and very strong! For food, we started with oysters (the cucumber mignonette was such a perfect pairing) and hamachi crudo. Both of this dishes were a fresh and light start to our meal. For our mains we orders the fish and chips and the crab pasta! It was so good and filling. We finished the night with the chocolate cake! To die for and not heavy at all. Great meal, service, and ambiance!

It's wheelchair friendly but a host may need to grab the door for you. The staff was phenomenal and never missed a beat. The vibes are great! And fun note all their greens are grown in house! The seafood was fresh and very bright! I would love to see a full raw menu when they hit their 1 year of service. The scallop crudo had texture but the raw oysters had the perfect cucumber mignonette! The baked oysters could have been harder but that sauce was fire! Each went well with my Mayday cocktail. Unfortunately the lamb meatballs were a miss as they flavors are not too common to my taste and unfortunately my bread had that burnt taste from the grill. The viral crab pasta was also not very crabby and overly bready. I would add more crab or lessen the amount of pasta to balance. The desserts also need a rework because the flavors were not what you would think for sticky toffee pudding or pistachio ice cream. There are more menu items to explore so I will be back! I am very interested in what this restaurant has in store for us!

He made some suggestions after I asked a few questions. Ended up with the Denial and Error made with Strawberry Infused Cambio Blanco Tequila, Black Sesame-Miso Syrup, Lime, and Chocolate Walnut Bitters. So different but so good as is always the case! I loved how the miso and sesame came through. My other pick was what my daughter was going to get so I got to try that, too! The So Hip It's Outta Sight made with Blanco Tequila, Green Chile Vodka, Creole Shrubb, Cranberry-Sage Syrup, and Lime. It was sweet and good. I would order either of them again. We arrived late on Sunday, around 9:00 PM and they closed at 10:00 not realizing till we were in and seated that no one else was there, we must have passed the last person that came out as we were coming in. Everyone was very gracious; we had one drink and were on our way. I normally have two but didn't want to overstay. I love this place!

The vibe is classic, elevated, and gives true cocktail lounge energy -- not loud or chaotic, just intentional and well put together. Now let's talk about what we came for: the drinks. We ordered the Old Fashioned flight, and when I say they did not come to play... they did not come to play. Each one was crafted differently, and you can tell there's real skill behind the bar. These are not bartenders -- these are mixologists. Every drink was balanced, strong (in a good way), and thoughtfully made. Quick tip: If you plan on getting the Old Fashioned flight, make this your last stop of the night... because you will feel it. Service was great, drinks came out in a timely manner, and the overall experience felt elevated from start to finish. Highly recommend if you're looking for a true cocktail experience in St. Louis.
