The store is better organized than it was before and customer service has improved significantly..

This store looks like an utter sh*t show when you walk in. It always has. However, if you are patient and know how to comb through chaos, you can find some great deals. Their book section is outstanding! They have so many great books ranging in subject matter, especially many about music or musicians/bands, tons of cookbooks, and loads of puzzle and coloring books. It really is a great place to buy books. The also have a lot of random as seen on TV stuff, food items, linens and kitchen/bath essentials. Deals can be found here, just don't rush in thinking you'll be able to locate something straightaway. The workers on the floor have been less than helpful, in my experience, but the cashiers have always been friendly and somewhat knowledgable. If you go on a Sunday, parking can be tricky because there is giant strip mall church next door and the parishioners use a lot of the spaces. Other than all that, if you love to hunt a deal, Ollie's can be fun. read more

Hit or miss as always! Visit was a hit for me this time, as I walked out with a $32.75 purchase! Prices have gone up significantly, with many items being the same price or slightly less than traditional retail outlets. Still enjoy stopping in and going on a treasure hunt whenever I'm in the area. read more

"OLLIES....GOOD STUFF CHEAP!" I hear that slogan in my head everytime someone brings up the name of the store. This location has a ton of items. You can get snacks or carpet..they sell just about EVERYTHING. You can even go in and get a pack of undies and a a Christmas tree or maybe you need a dresser while you are at it. They have you covered. If you need assistance, there normally is not many employees walking around to help, you have to track them down. You may even catch them on their phone if you walk towards the back and need assistance. Even with their low prices sometimes it's a bit overwhelming due to how much clutter is happening up and down the aisles. I wouldn't suggest taking your child if they want everything they see because this place is packed to the brim with all kinds of things...and yes they have a toy section. There are also times you will see how dirty the place is as well. I do not think the shelves get cleaned at all. You will see dust and remnants of something that has spilled and dried up. Ooohhh and I can't forget the bathrooms. I have only went in twice and then gave up. The bathrooms can be a bit scary...I'll just leave it at that. I truly hope they have made process with cleaning it up daily in there. All in all it's a great place to stop by and get a house warming gift or even for things you may need at home. I will definitely visit again when I am in the neighborhood and need stuff from there. read more

My husband and I were anticipating a trip to Ollies for some early and unique toy shopping for Christmas. We arrive at Ollies in Aberdeen Md at 10:02 am the doors were open however the lights were off. We proceeded into the store where my husband politely ask the young lady at the cash register if they were open, her response, the doors are open aren't they?. Wow was my response. My husband started to just walk away, then decided to go ask for the manager. Guess what? She informed him her name was Gina and she was the manager. We debated then left the store to go to Elkton Ollies to spend our money. A little kindness would go along way when answering a simple question politely. read more

This place has a ton of random crap: books, sheets, art supplies, etc... depending on what they can get at a discounted price. The place is messy and disorganized, but you can find a ton of random things at a low price. The parking is ample and is just off the 95. read more

Ollie's is a random leftover crap store, think like Ocean State Job Lot or the Christmas Tree Shop. It's messy and disorganized, as other's have stated, but that's kind of their business model. It's worth going through and browsing for books, kitchen stuff, a few staples (garbage bags, dish soap, etc), curtains, sheets, rugs, random tools and some automotive stuff. read more

It's a junky, funky pile of good stuff and it's cheap. Got some time, you'll find great deals here. After our new puppy shredded our expensive curtains, I was walking through Ollie's and found similar curtains for $11. I am over the moon. I've also shopped for Christmas wrap and college stuff here. I love Ollies! It's like the biggest garage sale ever, but with new, unused stuff. I've gotten everything from area rugs to lawn supplies. You just have to have a sharp eye! read more

The store is like a Tuesday Morning that a tornado blew through. I have yet to find anything I wanted to buy, but maybe one day I will. The customers can be entertaining though. read more
