I have called national HQ numerous times and nothing changes except getting worse. Be sure to check the dates on any perishables or food items - if it is in stock, probably out of date. I am sure the store makes money because there is no competition but if someone owned it who actually cared it would be a million Dollar General. If the owner ever wants to sell, find me. I would love for this store to actually represent Dollar General as an example of how a store should be operated, and the neighborhood it is in.
