I have no issue with him he treats patients amazingly. If he would treat all patients his practice would be amazing. The ladies at the front desk are nice. They are aware the patient portal doesn't work correctly and apologize for that every time I come in. They say the drug testing is random, yet I have to leave a sample every time I come in. I've interacted with all of the doctors including getting injections from Lief Sorensen, MD, injections / a spinal cord stimulator implanted from Bryan Wernick, MD, and my "primary care" provider at the practice, Melissa Smith, DNP. I've found them all to be talented, professional, compassionate, and always willing to listen to my concerns. Especially Melissa Smith who I see monthly. I really can't speak highly enough about the providers. To anybody on the fence about a spinal cord stimulator, the Boston Scientific stimulator has changed my life for the better. I can literally feel a significant decrease in pain the moment its turned on. Conversely, turning it off (or running out of batteries) causes an instant increase in pain from a 2/3 to a 5. My only negative with the practice was that there seemed to be a phone system issue in part of 2023 where it was difficult to speak directly to a person. I mostly used their online portal messaging system so that was not a significant problem for me. The phone system problems seems to have been resolved in late 2023 or 2024. Overall, the staff Dimensions Pain Management have given me back a normal relatively pain free life. I would strongly recommend them to anyone in need of pain management services.

The front desk had very nice people, and the nurses were very helpful. I went to the cafeteria which was good, with different options and a wide variety. The gift shop was nice, and even had flowers you could buy, as well as phone chargers, bags, medicine and other things. Flowers were a surprise as level 1 trauma centers do not allow them for sanitation reasons... but sure would be convenient to give to family/friends. Overall a great place to get care in Louisville and surrounding area.

It was my my first visit with Neurosurgery One today, after having 3 doctors recommend the doctors there - either office. The front desk staff was welcoming, and it was so nice to have a simple questionnaire instead of spending time giving all my information, history, medication, etc. and having the technician and PA ask me the same questions. Since the doctor, Joshua Beckman, MD, and Nick never rushed me at any time I was able to fully discuss my situation with them. I even felt comfortable asking questions that I thought might be "dumb". I feel it's always smart to listen to what is said and to check that you heard/interpreted what they said properly. It's so easy to forget what's said in an appointment without taking a few notes at times. After a few more tests, I'll be returning to discuss my options for further treatment. For those concerned about social distancing, the waiting area is fairly large and it was not difficult to find "my own breathing space", or I could have worn a mask. Restrooms were a short walk away. I'm looking forward to working with them in the future.
