Christopher Felt has the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced in a medical setting. Being a chronic pain patient he makes me feel as though my conditions are nothing more than an inconvenience. I have been waiting over 3 months for a procedure and the office is claiming it is due to insurance denials. When I spoke to an imaging office, they told me the truth about the office- they don't do what is needed to get procedures and process out through insurance. All that was needed for an MRI to not come out of pocket for me was a peer to peer review and he refused to do so. When another medical office is apologizing for the treatment of your Dr based on a small ask they refused, you know you have a bad Dr. Dr Drennan is amazing. I have no issue with him he treats patients amazingly. If he would treat all patients his practice would be amazing. The ladies at the front desk are nice. They are aware the patient portal doesn't work correctly and apologize for that every time I come in. They say the drug testing is random, yet I have to leave a sample every time I come in. I take my medication as prescribed and I have had two test come back as bad. I think they using either a bad lab or bad practices sending in their samples. Be aware of th read more

I have been to 5 pain speialists over the past 8 years and Dr Drennan is the first one to treat my pain vs pushing drugs like the previous 4. My pain is greatly reduced and he has helped me cut my medications by 75%. I am on 25% of the drugs others gave me and the injection treatments have dramatically reduced my pain. I would have given a Zero star review if possible! Bill Hazel Was a patient for years. They made lots of money from my chronic pain with countless procedures and even prescribed a Fentanyl patch knowing the highly addictive nature of the pain medicine. Lied about how easy it was to get off the medicine. "When you want to stop, all you have to do is come in once, take an oral medication and lay on the couch for a half hour." That's a lie. I was addicted for years. Finally I refused to simply show up and be experimented on. They would tell me that my procedures were approved by insurance, have me come in and do the procedure to only find out after the fact that the procedures weren't approved by insurance. So they decided to surprise bill me for and attempt to make me pay out of pocket. They then had me come in and attempt to have me sign an authorization that I would agree to pay out of pocket for my procedures if they were "later denied by insurance". I refused to sign and then they attempted to say I was a No-Show for an appointment on that same day while I was standing in their office!!!! I said No, I came in because you said it was approved but I'm not agreeing to pay for something that isn't approved. And they've been attempting to damage my credit ever since. I've now filed a complaint with the State's Attorneys General Office as there is ZERO chance I'm paying for a NO-Show when I was there but refused to play their games! Never would recommend them! Dr. Drennan is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He is truly one of those most capable, brilliant and compassionate individuals I've ever encountered in healthcare. Comprehensive Pain has a lot of really amazing people that work there in general. If you are truly seeking pain relief, and NOT med seeking, this is definitely one of the best practices in Denver you could choose. Between Dr. Drennan and Dr. Felt, I consistently feel as if my needs and concerns are always addressed and met. Dr. Felt is very good at listening and gathering as much information as possible in order to create a treatment or offer new suggestions. The front desk is always extremely helpful and patient as well as the medical assistants and procedure schedulers. I had a major insurance catastrophe recently and almost had to find a new practice - to which I was devastated and panicked. Johanna and Dr. Drennan as well as a few other people really put a great deal of time & energy into untangling the mess though . Being faced with possibly having to change practices , I chose to change insurances and NOT doctors, because they are truly so imperative to my overall quality of life. I have been going to Dr. Drennan and his associates for approximately 3 years. One week ago I was taken to the hospital by ambulance for severe kidney pain. When I arrived at the emergency room I was immediately hooked up to an IV and was treated for acute kidney trauma. In the IV was something to treat my pain. Three days later I went to my scheduled appointment with Dr. Drennan and I brought with me my hospital release forms, directions for aftercare and the medication tat the hospital sent home with me. Today I received a letter stating I'm being dropped by his practice for not alerting him prior to my treatment for pain in the emergency room. As a "doctor" I would think Dr. Drennan would realise when your in the emergency room in pain and filled with fear you don't think about calling your pain doctor to get his permission to be treated. To top it off his letter makes you feel like a criminal. read more

Dr. Drennen changed my life. I got the Spinal Cord Stimulator implanted. It did freak me out a little bit having something implanted inside of me. Dr. Drennen took the time to explain everything, help me understand the whole process and helped me feel secure in my decision. Once I've had this implant I've been able to get off of 4 medications. The most important one was Nucynta which is an opioid. This may not be for everyone. I have to admit it is hard getting used to. Once you figure out your program it gets a lot better. read more

Dr. Drennan is awesome! He's been my doc for close to 5 years. He is a really great guy with a fantastic bedside manner. He listens to me. He makes changes accordingly. I have been a patient of Dr. Drennan's since 2012 and I am so thankful to have found a doctor that truly cares about his patients. I had headaches for as long as I could remember. Every other doctor said that I had TMJ issues, or it had something to do with my teeth or my jaw. They would put me in a bite guard and it didn't help at all with my headaches. Then, Dr. Drennan diagnosed me with neck pain after reminding me that I had a snowboarding accident when I was in my early 20's, and he suggested I try steroid injections. I gotta say, I was a little apprehensive, but Dr. Drennan is extremely gentle and good with a needle. He also plays music during my procedure to make it better experience. After my injections, my headaches FINALLY went away! I used to wake up every morning with a headache. Dr. Drennan has changed all of that. Thanks to Dr. Drennan and his amazing staff for giving me quality of life. read more

Beware of "pain specialists" who own the medical equipment company (in his wife's name) that will be providing whatever he recommends you need. And keep copies of all records and communications through the portal, and all prescription's he has written. Print them out. You are going to need them. He changed my life too. read more

I went out of my way to go to this specific clinic to see Dr. Drennan's partner doctor Eric Mehlberg, MD. Be careful which doctor you get set up with as I found Dr. Melhlberg to not only be unprofessional and insulting to the SPINE SURGEON and conservative treatment I had been following until it was too painful to handle, but he also rudely commented on a physical abnormality caused by my neck condition. He has general knowledge of causes for pain and painful conditions, performs or requests that other procedures that can relieve pain. Though he criticized the doctor who performed it on me and told me that he'd put me at great risk - false, according to 3 spine surgeons. Yes, he gave me an opiate, what I'd call an introductory opiate, but I had an adverse reactions I can't take it. Maybe he was having a bad day? The assistants are great as well as all the staff. I decided that I would not return as I did not want to see him due to his unprofessional behavior. Ask instead for Dr. Brennan. I don't know him, but you have a 50/50 chance, and everyone else there was really nice.Sigh. read more

The staff at the Broomfield office are top notch, I am always welcomed when I walk thru the door and told goodbye when I leave. I have been coming here for over two years and have received the best care I could imagine. Dr. Mehlberg and his support staff are amazing to say the least. I had intense SI joint pain after straining it on my garage door that had broken a spring. Dr Drennan used an ultrasound to place numbing and anti-inflammatory meds into my SI joints and I have felt 100% better within minutes. And that was a month and a half ago! Dr. Drennan and his team are exceptional! This is one of the few doctors offices that not only have great physicians, but great staff period. When you walk in, the people at the front desk are always pleasant. The nurses that take you back for your appointment are always very pleasant as well. I have been seeing Dr. Drennan and the physician assistant Kristen for a while and have been very pleased with my results. One of the many things that stands out for me is that they are in the business of getting people well. Writing a prescription and sending you on your way is not how they treat their patients. It is their goal to give people their lives back with the least amount medication. Due to his professionalism and kindness Dr. Drennan has an absolutely AWESOME team with very low turnover. You can consistently expect to see the same friendly staff members who care about you. I am updating from a previous review I left for a doctor that was asked to leave the practice this was Dr. Patricia Little. Since Dr. Little has left I recently saw a new physician who was very nice and compassionate. It is essential to understand that these doctors cannot take away all your pain, and that their may be more than one pain source or inflammatory disease. Since Dr. Little has left this place has improved and probably always was a great place it's just some doctors such as Dr. Little need to learn to be compassionate and very clear with a patient instead of pushy, accusatory etc. I recommend comprehensive pain. read more

Dr. Daniel Drennan is the best doctor I have ever been to. I don't care what anyone else says, he has improved my quality of life 1000x and probably even saved my life. Before him I couldn't find relief for my headaches. I went in to see him for the first time six years ago and he knew exactly what was wrong just from talking to me. He is knowledgeable and knows exactly what he is doing. You walk into the office and the entire staff is friendly and welcoming. Bedside manner is awesome. I am never there longer than 30 minutes, and it is only if I need programmed. (I have a neurostimulation device to help with my headaches) Drennan only spends a few minutes with me because he doesn't need to spend any extra time unless there is something else going on. Then he spends as much time as he needs to figure it out. He is amazing and I wouldn't change doctors ever... If you're looking for someone who will take the time to fix the actual problem you have he is definitely your guy. He isn't the type of Doctor who will throw a ton of prescriptions at you and then not fix the cause of the problem. read more

Dr. Drennan is an amazing dr. However the office manager seems to be extremely unprofessional and have no experience in running an office. She is unable to answer questions about bills. It would appear that they lost their billing records from a few years ago and are unable to provide simple data from those dates. We recently received a bill we paid full price for at the time of service and they had the incorrect amount listed as to what we paid even though we have a receipt. After saying something about it they said that they corrected it but there is a new mysterious charge from a few years ago that they are unable to produce the correct data on. I have 15 years of medical billing experience and this is very concerning practice. Not only could the office manager not answer questions about bills but she threatens to not see me because a bill was due that we never received a invoice 4. It was confirmed that she had the wrong address even though new-patient paperwork had been filled out several times before. When asked where the return mail was going she said she had no idea and was not willing to look into it. We are happy to pay all of our bills that we owe but when there is no paper trail I definitely get suspicious. read more

I went in too see him as my previous doctor had left practice. After spending 45 minutes waiting. he repeated 5 time that i had violated patient opiate agreement. I had to argue with him to tell me why. He had two records of me getting Tramadol in other states. Both said 1800Petmeds and they were for my DOGS! But he would not listen. For a pain management doctor he is the MOST UNCOMPASSIONATE, stupid, not communicating, not caring person I have ever met in the medical field! read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Drennan's for nearly a year. I can't say enough good things about him and his staff. Everyone there, at the Broomfield office, is kind, patient and always willing to go the extra mile for their patients. I've had debilitating headaches for as long as I can remember. Dr. Drennan has made my life so much more manageable. He is one of the most well informed doctors in his field. If you suffer from chronic pain, Dr. Drennan is the man to see. While I'll never be 100% pain free. My pain level has diminished significantly. He doesn't just write pain prescriptions. Before seeing Dr. Drennan 4 years ago for my chronic neck and shoulder pain, migraines and muscle spasms I could hardly hold down a part time job while on disability. I was seeing a physical therapist, Neurologist and chiropractor with zero relief for years. I was on 5 different medications; muscle relaxer, pain med, gabba and Migraine preventative everyday......just to get through my day. My mom had to go one of the doctors here won't bother to say his name, anyway he kept pushing shots so she did the first few and after that she didn't want to do anymore because it was causing her to hurt even more and cry from the pain, I told him this and he listen the first time but now that we see him monthly he pushed shots once again so I told him to back off the shots because she said no more I'm not going to force her to do something she does not want to do because of this he told us to find another pain doctor because she didn't want to do shots that don't work. This place is in it for the money not to help people what happened to do what the patient wanted? They don't seem to listen to anyone wishes it's always oh I know what to do to make the pain more under control wrong you know how to make it worse I would not go back here ever again what kind of doctor doesn't listen to the person you are treating I would not recommend going here ever. read more
