Will never do business or trust Scholes with the health of a family member again…read more Scholes not only misdiagnosed my son but then it took months to finally reach their billing department, to be told they charge for their services no matter if they are right or wrong. Details below. We took my son in the Scholes to figure out what the strange bumps he had randomly been getting were. We ended up having 2 different appointments with them. At the first appointment we were told that our son had an auto immune condition and we're prescribed medication to use. When that didn't work at all we went back in for a follow-up and were told to change all the soaps etc in our house that he comes in contact with to hypoallergenic, this also did nothing to help. We ended up taking him to Idaho Skin Institute for a second opinion. Idaho Skin Institute was confident from the start that he was being bit from some sort of insect. With the two vastly different opinions we opted to have a biopsy done on one of the bumps to be sure. The biopsy confirmed it was in fact an insect bite. After months of pain and discomfort we were able to finally get him relief. After 4 months of calling and leaving messages for Scholes billing department, I was finally able to talk to someone today. The lady I spoke with was very polite as was I. I informed her about my son being misdiagnosed and offered the proof. I explained that I didn't feel it was right for them to charge me when they misdiagnosed my son twice. The lady explained that he was still seen and they charge for their services no matter what. I told her that it seemed unmoral to charge someone for a service that was preformed wrong. I explained that I'm a mechanic and couldn't imagine charging a customer for parts and services that I misdiagnosed. I further explained that everyone makes mistakes and I hadn't done a negative review on this for that reason. If the 62.29 they were charging me needed to be paid, that was a choice not a mistake. The fact that 62.29 ment more to Scholes than doing the right thing said all I needed to know about this business. If you are looking for a dermatologist that cares about you, your family or simply doing the right thing, more than money.... This isn't the place to go.

The salon is clean but the services were kind of disappointing. The custom facial I got had nothing custom about it - I don't like making blanket statements but it was the worst I've ever had - they use latex gloves the whole time that are too large for their hands so the sound and the feeling of them was not pleasant or relaxing. It didn't feel like the girl wanted to touch my face and most of the time I thought What is happening i've never experienced a facial like this. Half way through it i kicked myself for not taking up the girl up on her offer to do a shorter treatment - especially after i went to leave and found out I had to pay for something that was supposed to be a gift, and the girl checking out joked how the same thing happened to an elderly couple the week before. Obviously, there is a flaw in their booking system. The deep tissue massage was not awful if you don't like pressure I would not call it deep tissue. His regular nurse, Pam, is also great. She is kind and caring, does her job effectively and is very friendly. The staff at the front desk are professional, capable and friendly too. Even the phlebotomy department staff is great. The main lady can take blood without you even knowing she put the needle in your arm (my experience with her anyway). Overall, this is truly the best clinic for internal medicine I have ever been to. I have lived in over a dozen states over the past 40+ years, from Honolulu, Hawaii to Bangor, Maine and no Doctors office has been any better than this clinic. We had an appointment for our healthy newborn. All paper…read morework was filled out properly, including questions about race. Despite my preference about answering questions of race, I was verbally asked again. I felt this continual questioning was racist, and being female I felt they belittled me as well. Also, Dr. Jones made a false statement about breast milk lacking vitamin D, therefore he prescribed vitamin D drops for my baby. This lack of asking about my nutrition for my breast fed infant was an erroneous statement based on his ignorance. I receive Sunshine on a daily basis when available and I supplement with a high quality vitamin D3 fish oil capsules. Also, research shows that breast fed infants whose mother supplements with the proper amount of vitamin D3 do produce vitamin D in their breast milk. I do supplement well according to the research findings, therefore, my child is not deficient in vitamin D. I cancelled my next appointment with this doctor/ clinic, as based on my aforementioned statements, and chose to find another caretaker for my child. This doctor/clinic alerted CPS. I weighed my alert baby -8lbs.- in front of the CPS worker. She was confused as to why was CPS called in the first place. All excuses aside, perhaps this clinic and physician should have asked why I cancelled my appointment with them instead of calling CPS on a healthy infant and family. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! If you cancel an appointment with them, you too could end up with CPS knocking at your door.
