I normally don't write reviews but I know there will be another husband wanting to treat his wife and surprise her and book her something one day and stumble upon this place and I want to make sure he knows what he's booking and that when he books he's not paying for the service. The salon is clean but the services were kind of disappointing. The custom facial I got had nothing custom about it - I don't like making blanket statements but it was the worst I've ever had - they use latex gloves the whole time that are too large for their hands so the sound and the feeling of them was not pleasant or relaxing. It didn't feel like the girl wanted to touch my face and most of the time I thought What is happening i've never experienced a facial like this. Half way through it i kicked myself for not taking up the girl up on her offer to do a shorter treatment - especially after i went to leave and found out I had to pay for something that was supposed to be a gift, and the girl checking out joked how the same thing happened to an elderly couple the week before. Obviously, there is a flaw in their booking system. The deep tissue massage was not awful if you don't like pressure I would not call it deep tissue. I booked a hair appointment here after living in the magic valley for three years trying all the salons and not landing anywhere. When I walked in today, I was immediately pleased with the salon. The decor/set up/staff was all upscale and professional. A huge huge step up from what I was used to finding in salons in the area. My hair stylist ROCKED. I can not say enough good things about Alexis. I came in a little unsure of what I wanted, and she talked me through everything and we landed on her awesome idea. She was great at keeping up conversation (we had a lot in common) and it was not awkward at all like sometimes when you get a hair cut. Two 1/2 hours later (cut and ombre) I walked out of there feeling like a rockstar. I have now scheduled a nail appointment so hopefully that goes as well as my hair did! Over the years, I have used a wide range of services at Purity: waxing, massage, mani-pedis, hair salon, and facials. They have their own line of mineral make up, and I really like the wholesomeness and convenience . I think the thing that impresses me most about Purity is that they care about the person inside the customer, and that is more important than racking up sales. I think Purity is the best! read more

Were do I start !!!! I was very excited when I first scheduled my appt for my Hair & Makeup for my Wedding day. I live in California and our wedding was in Jerome... Not knowing the area to well I use yelp and google... I found them. Everything look so promising and the receptionist was great.My hair & makeup trial was a few days before. The girl that work in my hair did a great job. She was just a Lil cold with no personal skills... But is OK I was not there to meet friend. My nightmare started with the makeup...The make up was done by someone else. I was excited to see what she was going to do. But omg the foundation they applied was horrible it dry my skin I look like I had mortuary make up I told her take this crap off.... She work on my eyesadow I show her and example with sparkling gold ... She tried but I was surprised that she used glitter real glitter Martha Stewart stuff I was what the hell... Mind you this is a high end spa.... This is what they provided.... I was not happy... My time was up she promised that for the big day she will bring her own stuff... I did tell her that glitter itchy in my eyes.... WTH... I paid my bill for hair n makeup 165$ .... I also scheduled a pedi n Mani for me and mother that was coming from Boston for the wedding I wanted to have a special day with her.... Second part of worst time... I arrive for this pedi the spa pedi luxury one to be seated in a broken chair no massage no bubbles no way I could adjust the seat I was super uncomfortable I was so irritated but did not want to ruin it for my mother I had not seen in two years. Again the girls did an OK job nothing fancy I ask for sparkle for my toes again she bring out this glitter crap and just sprinkles all over they look so bad as if my daughter did my nails.... I just stay quiet BC I really did not want to make a scene.... I told the girl you know In Cali they have the clear top mix with the sparkle to work with it better... She told me a www I never thought of that... Really you work here and do this day in day out.... Omg so once we were done I went to pay for me and my mom it was 185$ WTF for I was so mad I got crappy service broken chairs and have to pay 185$ I was furious I told her for what she told me 70 for my pedi 50 Mani plus 10 for shellac + 5 for the glitter+ 50 for my mom Mani & pedi.... I was so upset this place is a rip off... Selling you a high end services with broken equipment and inexperienced staff.... I was fumming... The day of my wedding the girls came to my hotel to do my hair great job again from the hairstylist... For my makeup she only apply my foundation that I provided and but on fake eyelashes.... She started the eye shadow but I ended up doing it my self I did not want to look bad I touch up all the makeup using my own products I felt what the hell I pay for makeup for.... I did 80% .y self... This spa looks high End and selling you an illusion only... BC the actual services were crap not what I expected.... It ruin the time I wanted to spend with my mother as she got a half ass experience only.... One start is only for the hair & receptionist.... read more

I went here with a big party and the girls took great care of us. I only gave 4 stars because there was one gal in particular who did my spray tan and treated our group very poorly and gave me an extremely dark spray tan without asking how dark I wanted it. If you decide to get a spray tan then get one from Madison(I think is here name). read more

I had a great experience at the Purity Spa today! Jacy started out my spa day by giving me a great facial, she was very friendly and explained everything wonderfully. The room was beautiful and I laid on a cozy heated bed while I was given my facial. Then I was met the lovely Lindsey, who gave me a great pedicure. I also got Hydromassage, which I admit, I was skeptical about at first, but was actually very relaxing. I recommend Purity Spa, and certainly will be returning. read more

We went for a cousins birthday from out of town and had the express pedicures and massages. Everyone was really friendly and even offered wine. The decor was very pretty and relaxing. Roberto gave me the best massage I've ever had and we will be coming back for sure. Great place! read more

Horrible experience with the receptionist. I booked a massage with a gift card I won in a raffle. I asked if I could upgrade to a longer massage and pay the difference. I was told I could (by the receptionist) when I booked the appointment. After I had gotten my massage, the same receptionist who told me I could upgrade told me I could not use my gift card and had to pay for the entire appointment. She also said the gift card I won expired a month after it was issued (even though there were no dates on the card or envelope) She was rude and argumentative . . . Not a good way to develop repeat customers. I will never go back to Purity and will make sure I share my experience with friends and co-workers interested in spa services. I had been planning on booking a 2 hour massage with the therapist I saw because she was great. I won't because It's not worth it to have to deal with a rude receptionist! My advice - stay away from Purity unless you want to leave feeling worse than when you arrived! read more

What is advertised is not what you really get. I'm from out of state and found the spa online while I happen to be in Twin Falls for a couple of days. I booked my Luxury Spa Pedicure over the phone expecting to get what they advertised, but they didn't deliver. For the $70 I got an okay pedicure, sugar scrub, and a paraffin dip, but I was suppose to also get "choose a longer massage program for feet and lower legs as well as a hand massage." I REALLY needed a foot and lower leg massage and that's why I went there. When I went to pay I thought they must have written down wrong what treatment I came in for. The receptionist and pedicurist said that I got the Luxury Spa Pedicure, but told them I didn't get a foot/leg or hand massage. I was told it was a Luxury Spa Pedicure because I got the paraffin dip. Say what? I told them they need to change their website because what they advertise IS NOT what you get. I get a better pedicure/massage from my local Walmart. Disappointed. read more
