So ...I impatiently backed out of my garage before the garage door was fully up and hit the 'thingy' on top of my car. Found out later that it had a name: sharkfin antenna. Who knew? Anyway, it came loose when I hit the garage door and someone told me not to drive in the rain as it houses 'sensitive electronic stuff'. I called Jiffy Lube and they said they highly recommended Olympia Autobody as they couldn't do the repair at Jiffy Lube.. So I called them and a very friendly receptionist (Kyairra) immediately put me in touch with their efficient estimator (Casey) who said to come right in before it started raining. I did. Casey took a look at it and then the talented technician (Jeremy) pulled it in, looked it over, and repaired it on the spot. This all happened within an hour of my original call. Amazing! Perfect! I can't recommend this place at all. While they had my truck somebody broke in and tried to steal it. They made a half assed attempt to fix the damage, but failed. What makes me mad is they never contacted me about the damage. Even when I went to pick it up. Nothing was said. I ended up going somewhere else that I trusted to fix the damaged steering column. Olympia Autobody said they would fix the broken wing window on them ( several times) , but when I took the truck in to let them fix this part they said they knew about the insurance claim and demanded money to fix the window. Prior to arriving at Oly Autobody, I had several estimates and interactions with other providers and ultimately chose OA because from the estimate, to the speed of taking in my most prized possession, to the quality of the work done...I am absolutely confident that no one could have done it better. Took my car to this business after getting into an accident. They said they could do the repair and it would take 1-2 weeks. The repair ended up taking months as I had to bring the car back OVER 9 times. They forgot to paint pieces, the pieces that they did paint had fresh scratches on them, they damaged my car in the process of their repair which resulted in them repairing it even more. Their hours of operation are only 8 to 5 so it was incredibly difficult to go there after 5 and find anybody. I would pick up my car, find stuff that they hadn't done and I would have to bring it back the next day. All in all I had to bring the car back OVER 9 times. They didn't even fix everything, and their initial estimate was just plain wrong. I would not recommend taking your car to this business. In fact, stay off the street the business is on to save yourself serious headache. read more

I would not recommend this place. I got a quote here and at the place my insurance recommended. I chose them because they seemed very honest and flexible and not all corporate like the other place. But first they kept my car for a week without doing anything other than removing the bumper because when removed they saw more damage (as expected) and emailed the wrong person at my insurance company (who was on vacation) to get approval, and when they did not get an answer did nothing. It took my pushing and calling my insurance to get that unstuck. Then they worked on it for 8 business days. When I went to pay I brought up my deductible (being an honest person) and was told "no you don't have to pay it". Literally by the time I had driven 1 mile home a red light came on saying: Engine warning. Pull over to safe place. Do not drive" I called back to the shop immediately. The receptionist said "Oh, they probably just did not hit a reset button but I will check on this and call you back in the morning". (It was 5pm.) However, I did not get called back in the morning. I called literally as I was leaving town and was told she "forgot". I asked her to call and leave a message about what needed to happen. By the time I got back in cell phone range it was the weekend( ie they were closed) and I found that she had given this to my estimator who simply said on the VM "Oh, I was told to call you because something is wrong." So the ball was again dropped. When I got back in town and started from scratch with the estimator she called the dealer and then told me this was serious error message, and it would have to go there to be diagnosed for what was wrong. I asked "should I have it be towed" They told me "No, that they were sure the dealer would have said so if necessary." Well I did not think that followed and called the dealer myself to ask. They emphatically said that with that error message I was not suppose to drive it and to have it towed. In the end the dealer found that they have removed the engine transmission fluid while working on the car but had not replaced it! By the time I got it back to the dealer I had literally not had my car for 3 weeks for what should have been 8 days away. To their credit they did pay for the tow and the work at the dealer. The frosting on the cake was that then I get a phone call saying I do indeed owe my deductible and that I had been told the wrong thing because the paper work was done wrong. So you know 3 different employees were not paying attention to their work. Yep go somewhere else. read more

Rusty at Olympia Auto Body is a Crook. I took my truck to him on a recommendation of an employee of Olympia Auto body. I agreed to pay rusty $900 to replace the clutch on my 4 wheel drive dodge ram. A few months later I noticed that the throw out bearing was starting to go bad. I took the truck back to rusty to make it right. He did nothing. Today less than a year later I paid a reputable automotive repair facility to replace the bearing. When they had the transmission apart they discovered that the throw out bearing had not been replaced. It had just been packed with grease. In addition the flywheel had not be resurfaced. There were indications that a hand grinder had been used to surface the flywheel. The slave cylinder also had not been replaced. Rusty simply threw in a new disc and pressure plate. I will consider removing this review later if I am given a full refund. I just paid $1,200 to have this mess repaired professionally. These folks are just wicked awesome! I've taken a car to them twice now. (Lessons learned: soccer moms in Suburbans and NE Oly deer with a death wish should be avoided at all costs...) They took care of everything for me from the get go - practically begged me to let them give me a ride out to the boondocks of Thurston County where my loaner car was located. One time when I came to pick the car up on my lunch and it wasn't quite ready they made up for it via some neighborly relations - yes, that sounds dirty, but it wasn't - i swear! but it was lunch time... I can't say enough great things about this shop. Joel, the manager, is so helpful and communicative I'd recommend their shop, if for nothing else, based on my experience with him alone. And most importantly they don't have a dozen flat-screen tvs spread out around a palatial office and fancy waiting area furniture leading one to assume your (or your insurance's) $$ are going to support someone's office vanity insecurities... i'm just sayin... read more

They do good work. They are nice people. Be sure they complete the total job I always check the car completely, they didn't do the headlight assembly until I reminded them. They get the work done on time, but once there was a mixup. I've been there more than once so please remember all of these problems are from all my visits there. Only a two day delay, even with the storm and having trouble finding a part. It looks brand new (as it should! It's a 2018)! They even cleaned the inside! They were so nice and great to work with. These guys were great. I made the misfortune of rolling my driver's side window down (when it was raining) and finding out that my window motor died. I drove it straight to the shop because a family member recommended them. They gave me multiple options of what I could do( including one in case I could not fix it that day). I had to bring my car back later in the day and my window was fixed in less that 1 hour and reasonably priced ( Joel even called around to see if they could get the part for a cheaper price). While I was sitting in the waiting room I had multiple employees check in on me and offer me coffee. All in all I will definitely recommend these guys to my friends and although I would love to say I will never need to return....its a car things break. The actual work they did on my car was excellent. They were honest about how the metallic paint job works. They were so thorough and so nice. Amazing to work with. My car came back very clean. Unfortunately my car was returned without my iPhone car charger. Maybe that was a rookie mistake on my part leaving it in there. I left it on purpose so I didn't leave it in the rental. Let me start off by saying, my family has taken many cars here to be fixed prior to this experience. However, after this experience, none of us will ever be going back. We took my brand new 2017 Chevy Colorado in after we were in a head on collision on April 6, 2017. They gave us a 3 week time frame in order to get the car back. When I called week 3 they told me it wouldn't be done for another week, then another a week after, and another a week after that. We are currently at 7 weeks and still do not have our vehicle back. I received a call from Rodger this morning saying the car would be ready tomorrow.(YAY!) However, I called back to see if we could get an itemized list so that the bank would release the funds so we could pay them. Dennis Tody, who is an estimator there, called me back and told me it would not be done until Tuesday. All the while, slamming my insurance company, which is funny, since they haven't been involved since the initial estimate. When I was asking why it would take another 2 days as I was told Friday, he responded with "Do you know how much my parts are going to cost? Neither do I. "--clearly being rude and causing a horrible customer service experience, which to be honest, wasn't great to begin with. When I told him he was out of line and I wanted the owner to call me, he proceeded to hang up on me. I don't know why the shop has gone down hill, but we will never be taking our vehicles back there. Absolutely phenomenal experience!!! I took my mustang in after being rear ended, Cory conducted my appraisal and promptly communicated back to my insurance company. My bumper and side panel needed to be replaced, and Olympia AutoBody gave me the best price I could have asked for. I dropped my car off on the 16th and was told it would be a 2 day job. They even loaned me a rental vehicle so that I wouldn't be out of transportation when they performed the service. SO NICE! Exactly two days later, Cory had my vehicle ready for pick up! This shop refreshingly does what they say they are going to, at the price they appraised it at. No surprise fees, or "extra repairs" which I've unfortunately experienced from other auto body shops. The best part? Picking up my mustang in flawless condition. Literally looks like I just drove it off the lot. The interior was detailed, and the exterior washed.. simply outstanding for the customer to get back into. The customer service and genuine character Corey displayed throughout the entire process is something that should not be over looked. He is an exceptional asset to the company, and he has made me a customer for life! If I have a car question, these guys are my first stop. My poor car has taken a beating, mostly though no fault of my own, and they always make the repair process understandable, easy, and as pleasant as an unexpected expense can be. When I had a busted window, they taped it up so I could continue to drive as normal until I was able to be without my car for a bit. When it was a warranty issue, they called the dealership for me. I'm always given enough information to make the right repair choice for me. They even threw me a freebie when my boyfriend pulled my front bumper slightly off of my car. These guys are great! I had no idea there was anything wrong with my truck until this winter when water started leaking in through the windsheild. It turns out the previous owner had the windsheild replaced and the shop had done a hack job of it, leaving the frame around the windsheild to rust and eventually leak, bleh! Matt the manager was awful, seemed like he hated his job, didn't care about my car at all and was not friendly. seemed as if he was asking my questions because he had to so I took my car else where. My boyfriend took his car here and said the same thing about Matt. and even worse when we got his car back from them, the front fender that they were supposed to replace and fix, squeaks at every bump and move of the car, and they accidentally unhooked the wires in the door to the lock and window buttons. They didn't replace the fender with a certified brand fender, but a cheap one from china. I do not recommend bringing your car here unless you deal with the owner himself, or Roger. Those two are the only ones that seem like they actually care in the office and will make sure your car comes out the way its meant too. But as for matt, he sucks. awful, awful, awful. Wouldn't trust him with anything, he has proved time and time again that he doesn't care about the customers he deals with. read more

Our brand new (1,200 miles) Toyota RAV4 was broad sided by a driver attempting an illegal U-turn. Olympia Autobody was pre-approved for our insurance. They have an excellent reputation, and I can say it's honestly deserved. They kept the vehicle until it was restored to its brand new condition, and we haven't had any issues since picking it up. The quality of the work is outstanding. While it took 7 weeks to complete the work, I'm glad they didn't rush it and do a sub-standard job. Since it took so long, we would have appreciated more proactive status reporting. But, all things considered, we'd highly recommend Olympia Autobody. read more

Never have I had a worse experience at an auto body. The entire time I was there I was looked down on and largely ignored. I went to this shop with my father, who knows a little about cars, to get an estimate on fixing the lock on my car which is broken. Everything they said would be addressed to my father even if I asked the question. They would dismiss whatever I said and made me feel insignificant. It got even worse when the man who was helping us made derogatory comments about a latino man who worked with him. Being latina myself, I was obviously very offended. Before leaving they said they would email me with an estimate which they never ended up doing. If I could give them zero stars I would. read more

I had a accident in my truck there was a dent on every single pannel and a tree branch throw the hood and windshield even the roof had a dent lol but they said no problem we we can make it better than new and they did my truck is better than new the detail they put into it was amazing and on top of that they are very friendly MATT was so helpful made sure everything got done from the smallest details. Vehicle got done in a timely matter, rusty works in the shop and is a master with metal and body work the entire staff is fantastic the paint job on my truck is better than new.
