Since I have been working for the government for the majority of my career, I never gave much emphasis on writing a "good" resume. When it came time for me to look for work outside government, I knew I needed professional help. I did the usual Google search and was fortunate to come across John. First off, let's get something straight. John is not cheap. He is not one of those companies who advertises to write your resume for $99 or $199. That is not what I was looking for and I strongly suggest all those who are serious about their careers to do the same. I am a strong believer in the adage, you get what you pay for. But while John is not cheap, neither is he expensive. It may seem that way to some, but look what you are getting. John is a full service provider. I first started working with John in summer 2016 and his assistance in rebuilding (and not simply redoing) my resume has been a game changer. The most important aspect of his work is that works directly with his clients to understand why the changes he is suggesting are being made and what results you should expect from said changes. Futhermore, he laid the groundwork for me to add to the resume as I changed positions, without disripting its flow. Not only that, he demonstrated how I could also improve my Linked In profile to make it more attractive to recruiters and does six month check-ins since my resume was completed.
