I spotted them a couple years back when I was visiting family in a hospital and noticed they weren't affiliated with the hospital and had their own staff handling things. When it came time to transport another family member who was looking for a scheduled pickup, this was the service that I felt could do it without fuss. They were on time and they were professional and had some pretty top notch equipment to help the process go smoothly. The crew were a nice couple of guys, who were thorough in their questioning but came prepared. They were considerate enough to let me sit in the front to accompany my ailing family member, which was a pretty interesting experience to say the least. By the time they arrived at the hospital (which going from one borough to another is never an easy feat ... in traffic), they were delicate and tedious with how they handled everything. There was no time that was off the table and they made the process seem pretty easy overall.

On numerous occasions I was fortunate to be around to perform the said transfer of bumping her down, but I don't know what would happen if I wasn't around. I spoke with the supervisors on 3 occasions and was promised on each occasion that it will not happen again. This has yet to be resolved. The driver yells at me to find another ambulette company (which I don't think he has the authority to tell me to do). Driver of car #17 is selfish and does not care about the patrons. And the supervisors have no authority over their drivers. Very displeased with this company.

I called the supervisor and t as introduced myself as a Paramedic and I was met with disrespect and excuses by on duty supervisor. This is not acceptable, this little rant is not the end of my discussion about this less than mediocre operation. As a professional you are supposed to be able to deal with critical opinions and concerns, not get upset and disrespectful when faced with them.
