Not far from a 5 star... I have been at the restaurant many…read moretimes, and every time I had a culinary blast... Indeed the restaurant deserves a 5 star, all the way. I have stayed in the hotel once, and this is what makes me remove one star, however it is still a great place to stay at. The bathroom made me have second thoughts, but lets face it, I would go back over and over... Ideally go there with you're love one or to become, because the romanticism of the place will sweep you off your feet and imprint a romantic tattoo to your spirit... If you think all French people are rude, then do not go there because you will think you have left the country!!! The staff is exceptionally trained, kind and bends over many time to insure you have a flawless experience... I just wish we could put half stars, and even three quarters of one, that is how close they are from it...

The room, however, left something to be desired. Our junior suite was large, but the furnishings felt like something from an airport hotel. And the style of the room leaned too much into the castle motif with the rock tile and dull color. The history of the building offers some explanation, but the given that it was remodeled in 2010 makes me wonder why it still felt so old. The excellent staff, great location, and incredible history of the hotel made for an enjoyable stay. But there is definitely room for improvement.

This is a beautiful, well located hotel that offers impeccable service and attention to detail. We enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet each morning of our stay. With both sweet and savory options we were spoilt for choice. There was a full bar with a piano player every night but Sunday. It was a fun place to gather after a day of touring. Located in the heart of the old city, we were able to walk everywhere. If we return to Rouen, the Hotel de Bourgtheroulde would be our first choice for accommodations.

Sur 5000 m², les Bains Docks offrent un bassin olympique extérieur pour une pratique sportive de haut niveau, 3 bassins ludiques couverts et découverts, 2 pataugeoires, un tobbogan. Un complexe de balnéothérapie ainsi que des solariums y ont aussi été aménagé. Les bassins s'inspirent ainsi des piscines naturelles creusées dans la masse, des jeux de lumière permettent de se "baigner dans la couleur". Une autre originalité du lieu concerne le jeu d'ouverture sur les façades permettant d'apercevoir, depuis l'extérieur, les espaces intérieurs.

Without exaggerating, this is one of the nicest B&Bs I've ever stayed at…read more We stayed two nights in the Orangerie, the cottage. It's gorgeous. A spacious sunroom provides views of the lawns, garden and the old house (which is the main hotel). The bedroom couldn't be more comfortable, and beyond that, the bath is huge and well-appointed--an enormous shower, a bathtub, even a sauna. Both mornings, the traditional French breakfast was fresh and more than we could eat--come hungry! Served to us in the sunroom, there was a hot dish, fresh yogurt, tarts, croissants and bread, and of course juice, coffee and tea to order. The location is a ten-minute walk into Honfleur itself, and has gated (walled, actually) parking. Bring a small car. It's completely quiet, just birds singing in the trees on the property. In early May we slept with the windows open, no insects. The hosts are gracefully and gracious, easy to communicate with, helpful with recommendations (and tips on restaurants to avoid). It's easy to see why Maison du Parc has won so many accolades, yet the prices are very reasonable. Maison du Parc is a wonderful find if you're visiting Honfleur or need a base for your Normandy excursions!
