Someone at work recommended Dr Tze, so I decided to give it a try. I really like how he spends a lot of time with me, asking me about my diet, my sleep pattern, etc. in more detail than my family doctor. He then checks my pulse and my tongue before deciding where to stick the needles. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the doctor is supposed to be able to know what is ailing a patient by checking the pulse, the tongue, etc, unlike Western Medicine where the patient goes in telling the doctor what's wrong. This guy listened to my pulse and told me my period is coming up... which turns out true... don't know if it's a common TCM trick but it is almost freakish for me! I also like how whenever I ask a question he takes time to explain everything to me, always kind and patient. Dr Tze allows plenty of time for the treatment and always asks if I want to rest a little longer on the bed before leaving. I can feel a difference in my body minutes after he inserts the needles. BTW Dr Tze is Chinese who lived in Argentina before coming to Miami, so he speaks both English and Spanish (with an accent).

When I returned I mentioned it to someone at work and found out that my insurance covers acupuncture as long as I go to an in network facility. I went to one and was unhappy with it. I then found this place. Florida Complete Wellness is located in the Publix shopping center on Volunteer Road. The door is a little hidden, but parking is easy. Pros: both drs are amazing! The rooms are clean and the doctors are friendly and caring. They have similar styles, so I feel comfortable seeing either one. This makes it easy to fit into my crazy schedule. They have amazing hours and I have been able to schedule on Saturday and Sunday. They know my benefit and in addition to the acupuncture, I am able to also get a massage as well (if I schedule same time). The massage therapist is also amazing and super friendly. Being able to walk and sit makes it all worth having to talk myself into needles (yes, I am super needle phobic). Cons: ZERO! This place ROCKS!
