I asked Mike to come over and walk through the property with me. First to help identify all the plants, trees, etc. that I now have. Recommend how to best care for them and then what I could do to enhance the framework already in place. It was great! I learned a ton. Mike is both a great teacher and is also enthused about plants and landscaping. One thing I really liked is that he didn't just criticize or point out what was wrong. He also praised the good work that had been done before. Not replacing everything but enhancing it. He also told me what could be done now (in the spring) and other things that should wait until fall. Although he also offers a maintenance contract he didn't push that. In fact he explained how to maintain what I have on my own. Just to call when I need help or for things I don't care to do. He then provided an estimate and followed through exactly as promised.
