A very personable young lady, with an interesting back ground as a result of her military service and professional employment. She has traveled the world. Experiences that influence the restaurant's menu. In addition to good old home-grown versions of Okie staples like a smash burger and meat loaf; there are a variety of international cuisine offerings. Just a few examples: Shawarma to Stitzel, and Spring rolls to Bao Buns. Some of her favorite ethnic foods from around the world. And for the Veg Heads there is something called a Grilled Cauliflower Steak. In the back of the restaurant is a large dining and event room, with outdoor seating. It is set up to handle a crowd. Check all of the pictures. There is Karaoke and live bands on the weekend. The music genre is as varied as the restaurant's menu. We kept our lunch simple today with an Oklahoma Smash Burger. A big beef patty with cheese, dressed with L,T,P&O. A side of crispy fries completed the basket. I noticed something different about the burger on the first bite. The tomato. The tomato had an unmistakable home-grown flavor. If you know, you know. I asked. Sure enough, grown in her husband's garden. An excellent burger. Great food, great owner and from looking at the pictures a fun place to spend the evening.

The speil of how I was welcome and would be taken care of didn't disclose the level of care I would receive. The onion rings were burnt with char marks included. I ate the lettuce sandwich and left the onion rings. I was disappointed the food made it past all the checks and to my table. I wondered how the restaurant has survived several years serving poor quality food. I realized some customers must be treated better than others, and I didn't make the cut. I would have forgotten the whole ordeal if it wasn't for the conclusion of my visit. I was asked, how everything was tonight. I responded to the fact the onion rings were burnt and I didn't eat them. The cashier responded, without hesitation, "oh, okay, that'll be $10.19." I reiterated that the onion rings were burnt and I didn't eat them. "Okay, that'll be $10.19". At this point I thought they may want to call the police, because I don't eat burnt food. She called over the server to deal with the problem customer. That just made me sad. They couldn't care less about some customers.

It's a cool, neat place with a bar area in the middle with seating around. We were quickly greeted and our server was prompt. He gave recommendations that definitely helped us on our decision. Wife had the meatloaf, very flavorful, hearty portion of meat served with fresh green beans and mashed potatoes. Definitely a must try. I had the roast beef, mashed potatoes with brown gravy and fresh sautéed green beans. The roast beef was tender, flavorful and the meal was plenty for the price. Highly recommend this plate. The first night I had the macaroni &cheese with bbq pulled pork. It was creamy and the sweet pork on top helped cut through the richness. The second night we both had the Hot Gobbler which was turkey with jalapeño pimento cheese. I loved it but it was a little spicy for my mom. The service was good. The first night we were seated by the kitchen and my view was a stack of boxes and metal shelves. That would be my only complaint. I was Impressed that our server recognized us the second night!
