OmegaElectric has been such a disappointment for us. We had substantial work done, so really shopped around for a quality company. They spent hours at our house last week running conduit outside and realized around 3:00 the conduit was too small for the wire. So, they had to start again. Sad and a waste of materials, but ok. Then, we failed the inspection because the wire they ran was for internal use instead of external use. The whole project was outside, so this was strange. The servicemen that came to my house were extremely rude they checked a ceiling fan in my home that was working and with out having knowledge that it was installed installed into a drop ceiling could not reinstall the fan I had to pay another electrician to correct thier mistake the owner was very rude over the phone and still charged me after ruining my working fan read more

This business did not take down my light fixture to investigate and repair a frayed wire in my house at the bottom of my stairwell after repeatedly asking him to do so. He then failed to return to repair it and when I called home serve to ask what happened to them coming back out to my house since he was contracted to do electrical work through them they said he didn't even put the frayed wire and complaint in his reports so he fraudulently filled out paperwork also. Nick diagnosed the problem quickly. Convinced home warranty to cover the repair. Returned as soon as received approval. Replaced defective part in no time. Even called back 15 min later to be sure lights stayed on. This had been an issue with lights turning on but going off after about ten min. Above and beyond. Really nice guys. This company was selected by out Home Warranty plan and honestly, we couldn't have been happier with their excellent customer service. Referred by my warranty company. 5 minutes in, omega made the determination that the repairs weren't covered. Never offered to submit a claim. The tech said it was considered emergency service and he would calculate the cost in the truck. I asked him to leave. He said that he had to turn off the electricity of my 80vyr old mother. In 98 degree heat under the advisement of Mr. Wayne Colletti. Little did he know peco had been there just a week before and advised us to call someone. They left without turning the power off. His tech did leave but felt so bad he returned and turned my mothers power on. Mr. Colletti cursed me and hung up in my ear. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!! read more

From the very start of my interactions, Company came across as shady prior to even dealing with them. Was first called out through warranty company on March 28 2019 asked to make electrical repairs. Electrician said yep this will be covered under the warranty. At this point the issue should have been resolved. A few weeks later the entire system failed during an electrical storm. Not trying to draw conclusions, but just seemed awful shady. Company came back out April 22 2019. Was again referred by same warranty company. Another appointment was made May 2 2019. The company was out THREE TIMES over THREE MONTHS and failed to fix a single thing. First said the warranty company would pay (which warranty company repeatedly told us) and then my CC company declined them because it was flagged as fraud. At that point I have no dealings with the company if my card flags it as fraud, that's prudent risk management. Shouldn't have mattered, because any reasonable professional would've had the issue resolved MONTHS ago and has caused a project to be held up, rents to be lost, and temporary housing for tenants to be required. I have already filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and State Attorney Generals Office against the warranty company that REFERRED them...hmm...Company then wants to threaten to sue my partner on a public post over a project handled extremely poorly and unprofessionally by this Company....yet they claim to be the "professional". Will be happy to have a qualified electrician on site tomorrow and pay him tomorrow. A real treat if you ever have to deal with them....stay away.... read more

Absolute waste of time! Literally had an appointment schedule over a week ago. Literally claimed to have called numerous times to clairify everything and I never got a single call or voicemail...I will never do business with this company. I called the day the project was supposed to be started and they tell me oh I can get you guys in, in 2 weeks...garbage! It's a review! And bills are paid thank you very much...your company has been nothing but a hassle to deal with...never did I receive calls from you about a single thing after the initial set up for the electrical work to be done. Nor was there a voicemail left either. If you claim to have called both of us why was there never a single voicemail? This company was offered through our home warranty. Technicians were very nice; but took two weeks for a service call. No follow up and the DIAGNOSIS was completely wrong- I used another company afterwards and found out they had crossed wires, left some just hanging and there was absolutely nothing wrong with my BREAKER. Crazy but I glad I didn't use them afterwards for the work that needed to be done. Can't even blame the technicians. The owners should of at least did a follow up to make everything went well and see if I needed anything else. They could of gotten a loyal customer. Just because my insurance didn't cover what was needed didn't mean I still didn't want it done. I'm so happy with the other company that was sent out afterwards for the NONEXISTENT BREAKER problem- that's why they got one star- I wouldn't have given them that. read more

This company is by far the best electrical company I have dealt with. I had a major electrical problem in my home, before calling Omega, I had 4 other companies come out to try and diagnose the problem. Neither companies were able to find the issue and kept informing me I would have to rewire my home (10,000.00 job) in order to restore my electric in the upper level. Omega Electric, however, came in and thoroughly checked my electrical outlets and electric system and FOUND the issue and my upper level lights started working!!! Omega, unlike the other companies who were in my home for only 2 minutes, spent about 45 minutes trying to solve the issue and fixed it. Additionally, their customer service is great. I will definitely use this company for all my electrical needs. read more

Home warranty serviced OMEGA to fix garage opener. The technician diagnosed the issue by stating that there was a wrong battery in the opener. He told me to go to Wal-Mart to buy a battery. And, if that didn't work call him back. So, not only do I have to pay for poor service, I also wasted money on a battery that doesn't work!! Courteous and professional, Dan and Ned assessed the issue, found the problem, and found a way to get it done without cutting any sheet rock. Impressively timely responsive efficient text/email/phone/appt/service. I request motivated expert tech Nick maximizing my coverage and caringly overseeing my home and his assistant. Since HSA bill $0 for more service than I expected, I don't know if Omega offers senior/AAA/military/etc discounts or referral bonuses. Blessings! read more

Purchased a new house, went through my warranty and was assigned this company to service my home. I were told I'd need to pay $200 deductible before someone even came to our home. I told them what the problem is with my garage door. They didn't say anything about if they can or not fix it. So I paid $200 and let a gentlemen come to take some pictures. After 5 days I got an email from warranty company the broken springs are not covered. Even though I still need to repair my door. So I call this Omega again. But they said they can't fix it! What a easy money! Several picture cost me $200. If you do not have that specialized skills and can not do it, why you send your man? At Last, the warranty company help me contact Omega and they said I can get $75 refund. Almost two month later, I finally got refund after call them at least 5 times! I will not be using or recommending them to anyone. By the way, I contacted another company to fix my garage door. They came and repaired in the same day, only charged me $175 in total. read more

Be sure to get as much information up front as possible! These rip off artists came to my home to replace a breaker. They were there MAYBE 30 minutes and charged us over $300! They produced an invoice with NO detail so we had no clue why the bill was so high. My husband called Wayne to ask for detail of the invoice and after what I guess Wayne thought were too many questions he told my husband to go "F" himself! Absolutely awesome, incredibly professional. Perhaps a bit more expensive than I was initially hoping to pay, but... after getting dorked around by a much cheaper company with less than professional communication skills, it was incredibly refreshing to have Omega's team lock in an appointment, and not only arrive on time and fix everything as scheduled, but even send along a "Technician is on the way" link to monitor the technician's progress traveling towards our home.
