I never been more uncomfortable in a dental office before. The secretary was very high strung and aggressive. The assistant made me feel like I was a bother for coming into the office. Was told I didn't need a root canal when I clearly did. I had a tooth abscess that was infected and had to follow up with another Endodontist. The endodontist I met with was extremely rude and had no bedside manners at all. At one point told me I was annoying her with my questions. To top it off they tried to over charge me and my insurance said absolutely not and they over-billed by over $150. These people will treat u like crap then scam you. I don't know where to begin but PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS ENDODONTIST! I saw Dr. Carri who performed my root canal. First, I'll clarify, she did a good job on my actual root canal. Unfortunately, it was after the root canal that went things went downhill for me. I couldn't open my mouth for months afterwards. The procedure requires the patient to keep their mouth wide open for almost an hour. My dentist said there was no rush on getting the crown. A few months went by and I still could not open my mouth so I went back into Omega and Dr. Carri said I needed to see a specialist for my TMJ (that didn't take insurance). She said nothing at that appointment about me not getting the crown taken care of. So I waited a few more weeks and then started to feel pain in my tooth. I was told my dentist to go see Dr. Carri again. While sitting in the dentist chair, I could hear the assistant loudly discussing my situation out where everyone could hear. She was telling Dr. Carri that I chose not to go get the crown done. So unprofessional. Dr. Carri comes in, in a very cold demeanor and tells me, WITHOUT even doing an x-ray OR looking in my mouth, that I NEEDED ANOTHER ROOT CANAL because I chose to ignore her and not go in a week to get the crown done. I really tried to maintain my composure. She claimed it was infected. I left her office very upset and almost in tears. I called my dentist and they were very skeptical. They had me go to another Endodontist to get CT x ray to see what the issue was. ......WELL, guess what? NO INFECTION, no cracked tooth, and the Endodonist said there is zero reason to do another root canal. We came to the conclusion the pain is from me grinding my teeth. SO...........Dr. Carri wanted to do another root canal on me when the CT showed I didn't need one. I was told by two other dentist that infections don't usually happen that quickly. The temporary filling can stay longer than a week! I called the office to share the news and the receptionist totally covered for her claiming my tooth was contaminated. HUH? What does that even mean? I told her MY TOOTH IS NOT INFECTED..I paid $300 for a CT scan to confirm. This Dr. in my opinion shouldn't be practicing. Most insurances won't even pay for another root canal after 3 months. She would have done the root canal and pocketed a few $1,000. I'm concerned someone else won't be as proactive and get another opinion as I did. PLEASE trust me. I don't usually bother writing reviews for doctor's but this is unethical to say the least. Upon contact with them, Omega Endodontics quickly booked an appointment for me, and office staff did the necessary insurance submissions. Dr. D. Liu was thorough in explaining the root canal procedure, and the options available, giving me the information I needed to make an educated decision. Dr. Liu was understanding, and considerate, in answering my questions, including questions related to the costs involved in the saving the one tooth. I opted to go ahead with the root canal, and have to say that I experienced no pain, whatsoever, aside from the few seconds of "pinch" from the Novocaine injection. Dr. Liu took 'before' and 'after' digital photos, and used them to help me understand the work that he did to help preserve the tooth. I highly recommend Dr. Liu and Omega Endodontics. read more

I was referred to Omega (Dr. Liu) due to complications with a root canal by my primary dentist. My sensitivity to dental pain is very high. The staff and Dr. Liu took the necessary steps (additional Novacane, communications with each action, etc.) to make me feel comfortable. Everyone was professional with a high degree of communication. While I hope I do not have the need for their services in the future, I will return if I do. Only rated good as I do not believe any dental treatment is "great"!! read more

I have had a great experience with Dr. Lou. However, his assistant has a nasty attitude. The front desk receptionist is very friendly and welcoming. He does have a wonderful older assistant. Who ever the young assistant is, he needs to replace her because she's bad for business. People pay to much money for the work that is need on their teeth to have to deal with an unprofessional assistant. read more

I was referred to Dr. Lui who works here and at Kennett Endodontics. I booked an appointment with Kennett for about a week out. Turns out they don't talk to each other and the Delaware office called (I didn't know they were a different entity than Kennett) to see if I still needed an appointment with Dr. Lui - I said I had one booked for "Wednesday" and they said they had not record of it, so they scheduled me for later that same day. They called later and said they had a cancellation for Tuesday (still not understanding they were calling from a different office) which I took (thinking it was Kennett). On Tuesday I had a voicemail confirming Wednesday morning (the original appointment). Confused, because I was literally ready to leave for my appointment they said the appointment was never changed. It was then that it was discovered two different offices were at play. As can be imagined I was very frustrated with both offices. I was unable to make it to the Delaware appointment and declined rescheduling for the following week since I also had the Wednesday morning appointment still scheduled too. I called back and confirmed the appointment. I then discovered a voicemail that had been left an hour later saying that they were cancelling my appointment and should find another doctor since I was rude to the staff.. I was not rude, but frustrated. At no point did they take responsibility for the confusion in the scheduling but rather decided to cancel without their office manager having the curtesy of hearing from me. read more

STAY AWAY unless you want a very unpleasant and painful experience. Very unprofessional staff and Doctor(Liu). I was treated like a dog by the assistant. Chair-side manner was non-existent by both. She didn't introduce herself when I was called in. She didn't tell me who she was or what her role was. She just started asking questions as if she had no clue why I was there. (Hello? I'm here for a root canal) Very unpleasant demeanor. No smile, no attempt to be made comfortable. She was 'rough' handling me throughout, very abrupt with her actions, noisy, slamming down instruments on table, and completely unsympathetic. At one point I was trying to speak and she said 'TALK!' after removing the mouth protector. So disrespectful. Novacaine had to be reapllied 3 times. Pain during the procedure was met by defensiveness by the Doctor. There was obvious tension between the Dr. and assistant. There was a lot of 'sighing' by both, with no explanation. Very unprofessional. Take your money elsewhere! read more
