Was told I didn't need a root canal when I clearly did. I had a tooth abscess that was infected and had to follow up with another Endodontist. The endodontist I met with was extremely rude and had no bedside manners at all. At one point told me I was annoying her with my questions. To top it off they tried to over charge me and my insurance said absolutely not and they over-billed by over $150. These people will treat u like crap then scam you. I had a wonderful experience at Providence Endodontists in King of Prussia, PA if you need a another recommendation

I don't know where to begin but PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS ENDODONTIST! I saw Dr. Carri who performed…read moremy root canal. First, I'll clarify, she did a good job on my actual root canal. Unfortunately, it was after the root canal that went things went downhill for me. I couldn't open my mouth for months afterwards. The procedure requires the patient to keep their mouth wide open for almost an hour. My dentist said there was no rush on getting the crown. A few months went by and I still could not open my mouth so I went back into Omega and Dr. Carri said I needed to see a specialist for my TMJ (that didn't take insurance). She said nothing at that appointment about me not getting the crown taken care of. So I waited a few more weeks and then started to feel pain in my tooth. I was told my dentist to go see Dr. Carri again. While sitting in the dentist chair, I could hear the assistant loudly discussing my situation out where everyone could hear. She was telling Dr. Carri that I chose not to go get the crown done. So unprofessional. Dr. Carri comes in, in a very cold demeanor and tells me, WITHOUT even doing an x-ray OR looking in my mouth, that I NEEDED ANOTHER ROOT CANAL because I chose to ignore her and not go in a week to get the crown done. I really tried to maintain my composure. She claimed it was infected. I left her office very upset and almost in tears. I called my dentist and they were very skeptical. They had me go to another Endodontist to get CT x ray to see what the issue was. ......WELL, guess what? NO INFECTION, no cracked tooth, and the Endodonist said there is zero reason to do another root canal. We came to the conclusion the pain is from me grinding my teeth. SO...........Dr. Carri wanted to do another root canal on me when the CT showed I didn't need one. I was told by two other dentist that infections don't usually happen that quickly. The temporary filling can stay longer than a week! I called the office to share the news and the receptionist totally covered for her claiming my tooth was contaminated. HUH? What does that even mean? I told her MY TOOTH IS NOT INFECTED..I paid $300 for a CT scan to confirm. This Dr. in my opinion shouldn't be practicing. Most insurances won't even pay for another root canal after 3 months. She would have done the root canal and pocketed a few $1,000. I'm concerned someone else won't be as proactive and get another opinion as I did. PLEASE trust me. I don't usually bother writing reviews for doctor's but this is unethical to say the least. You have to wonder how she sleeps at night.

The women at the front desk were welcoming and just gave off a vibe that told me I was going to be taken care of. I don't remember her name for certain, but I think it was Skye (or maybe Kelli?) who prepped me with getting x-rays, explaining what the process most likely would be, and assisting Dr. Wolgin. She also made me feel welcome and appreciated as a patient (and was right on target about what to expect!) Prior to this visit my dentist had tried a few things to pinpoint the pain but wasn't successful. Dr. Wolgin had it clearly identified within just a few minutes and was able to start shortly after that. Not so long story short, the whole process was painless. Dr. Wolgin and Skye (I'm hoping I've got her name right!) worked as a true team, seamlessly going through the root canal process. Watching them work together added to my confidence that all would be well. It all went perfectly and I was out much sooner than expected - from arrival to departure it wasn't much more than an hour. Just amazing, as I didn't feel anyone was rushing - they just know how to do their jobs and do them very well! While I know they will try and prioritize emergency cases as best as possible, even if you have to wait a few days it truly is worth the wait to get an appointment. No one looks forward to a root canal but after this experience I know where I'll be going if another one is needed! It really was painless!

I needed a bunch of root canals (sad trombone noise) and Dr. Lin did a great job of setting them up so he would start one, have me come back and finish it AND start the next one in the next visit, etc. This helped me minimize visits. He and the staff were great about me zoning out by listening to podcasts, and I never felt any pain. Out of all the procedures I had (five?), only one had an issue. Thankfully, I knew exactly what to do, as Dr. Lin had prepped me carefully after finishing on what to expect and when to call. I called (on a weekend!), quickly got a prescription for anti-biotics, and everything resolved without incident. I wouldn't hesitate to go here again (although I really hope I don't have to)!

She reviewed the x-rays with me and even showed me how my sinuses were inflamed due to the irritation of my root! I was able to schedule my root canal for the day after my consultation and everything was super organized. Dr. Serrano explained things very clearly and is an expert at what she does. I've had 2 other root canals and this was was by far the best. It was essentially painless, except for the numbing part, which wasn't bad either. Dr. Serrano took a few x-rays at various points during the procedure to determine if she could do the entire thing at once. I appreciated her thoroughness and specificity to ensure everything was done to perfection. Dr. Serrano called me the next day to see how I was doing, which just shows that you are more than just a number at TEC Endodontics. I am moving out of state, but if I ever need another root canal, I would gladly travel back to Dr. Serrano's office. She is that good!
