Worst property management company I have ever delt with. submit requests and they get declined just because they don't want to deal with the request. Since we changed to Omega our landscaping, our exterior maintenance has declined extremely. I am selling my property and just to request my HOA documents they are charging $350. i have tried to reach out to Andrea in the office regarding listing my property and she will not take my calls or return them. she just sends condescending response messages via the portal pretty much telling you she isn't going to approve your request! I have had a dead tree in front of my house and have been trying to get ANYONE to respond or answer for over 3 months now. This is right next to my driveway so I am very concerned it will fall on my car. Finally got a hold of someone a couple weeks ago when I decided to call the billing people instead. They were apologetic and said that they would prioritize it but still no word.... Never call me back, never answer emails, never answer through the portals... The following is an email I left for Omega 10 days ago and they have yet to respond. If you care to read the email it is a story on how they have blocked a mother recovering from a double mastectomy get to watch her 5 and 2 year old playground from the window while she recovered over a technicality. Good evening, I am not requesting anything with this email other than I would like to have this passed along to the HOA members. This experience has left me feeling extremely sad. The purpose of the landscaping that has been placed on hold is a playground for my children. In a way it was supposed to be a playground for my wife to watch. My 37 year old wife is on day two of recovery from a double mastectomy. All she wanted ready post her surgery was this playground and a new reclining chair to watch them from the window. Instead, because of an unintentional faux paux on my part to quickly correct the work of a contractor that did work in bad faith, this work was put on pause. On a Sunday, a member of the association walked up to me in my backyard after I had sent my family away to my in-laws so I could work two eight hour days to correct the problem with a 1.5 tall retaining wall. I was tired and dirty and basically had me stop the work. I get it, technically I should have resubmitted the request. That would have been more time with just dirt in the yard, unfinished work for the neighborhood to have to work with. I also found out the association member stopped at my neighbors behind me to ask about the work I was doing. Then within a week received a letter not only to reiterate that all work had to stop but also are dog had been reported by multiple people for barking for over an hour at a time (we never leave her out for over an hour). Not to mention, our neighbors behind us have dogs that bark just as much, if not more. I am not reporting them, I am just saying there are three dogs on this corner and I hope the barking is being applied to all three of them. Regarding the being reported, this is starting to feel more like an association to wield against each other for petty reasons. I was raised by my mother and she also is a real estate agent. I was taught early that a home is an investment and how you care for the outside of your home is not just for your investment but also the investment your neighbors have made. There are many petty things I could have reported in the past three years. For instance, a neighbor (I refuse to report their address because I don't want to join in on pettiness) constantly violates the city noise ordinance many hours past when volumes are supposed to be lowered. It has even woken my children multiple times. That said, it hasn't constantly woken them to the point reporting them felt necessary. Also, if we sold this house, nobody is going to tour the home after 10pm or at 1:30 in the morning. My point in bringing it up is we are good neighbors. We had irrigation installed on the Glacier to make the neighborhood look nice for all of us. We didn't have to pay the extra 1000 for that. We don't even own that piece of land. I reference this because we care. We are good neighbors beyond a dog that is still a puppy barking here and there. Once again, I just wanted all of you to know this has been a very saddening experience. I am just a husband and dad that wanted to make a tough experience nicer for his wife and make his sons happy. All while making a very nice, family oriented yard to represent the Fair Haven community. read more

I've lived in a neighborhoods that have had associations for almost the last 20 years and have had more issues with Omega in the last 9 months than in the last 20 years combined. There are individuals who have been helpful, but it's really hard to reach them and overall there are just so many issues that they overshadow the good. It's very unfortunate to have to work so hard at getting things resolved that really shouldn't have happened in the first place. They're apathetic- recently had their lawn care company break my window and when I called to report it and start the process of getting it fixed, they acted like I was causing them so much work. read more

A very difficult terrible company to do business with. So many issues with absolutely no concern for the homeowner at all. They were supposed to trim the ugliest dying pine tree close to my house as I am handicapped and could not get to my patio. So the supposedly tree experts come out and instead of trimming the back of the tree for me to get by. They trimmed a huge hole smack dab in the part of the tree. That faces my driveway left this horrible ugly huge awful space very large of nothing. They left their mess did not take any of the branches. And the management Co. took the side of the people who trimmed over me as the homeowner. Could have cared less. This has been a on going issue with this company for last 11 yrs The only one who ever took a very big interest on what was going on was Lance. And he left because we are on the other end of the world for him to drive to. Again you have contractors way over on the other side of town. Get some companies over here in the East Metro. And you better wake up to all of the horrible reviews coming in on Social media. Or you are going To be losing some business. read more

Our property manager considers himself a "professional". Those of us in our condominium community see him as inept, rude, unresponsive, and anything but professional. He has zero people skills and sees even a slight disagreement with him as a challenge to his authority. The fact that Omega stands behind him is a true indication of what a terrible company they are. We have an outstanding problem that is approaching three years old - he claims he doesn't see it, but hasn't made the effort to ask us about it. I have been a resident for 12 years at an association, Cedar Bluff Townhomes Eagan MN, that uses Omega and I can say that they never resolve an issue in less than 3 months. Notified them in November 2021 that the trash can in our park had been removed by mistake. They wrote that it would be returned. It is now March 2022 and still no trash can and I have contacted them several times. 3 years to get tree branches, that were hitting the ground, trimmed 2 years to get lawn repair on and on and on read more

Would give 0 if possible. I have never had a the owner of a company treat me with less respect. No regard for the home owner, no compassion. They indicate on their website that they have relationships with companies which would be a plus in hiring them. Where are the recommendations when you need help? No where. The moto of this company should be, "we will find a way NOT to help you". Threats and bullying are the hallmarks of the owner. I'd give this company Zero stars if it let me. I have not had a great experience with this company. Their employees are rude. Their customer service lacks professionalism. When it comes to property management, this company is sub par. They are quick to hand out mandatory updates to the property (when it costs the homeowner $) but they are slow to react to any needs of broken property, wasp infestation, etc. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Omega Property Mgmt has managed our Chanhassen townhouse property for six years. Omega is responsive to the homeowners. As a board member and a homeowner I'm grateful for their thorough research. We have a big project to do and Omega's team vetted the contractors and brought us three good bids. With Omega's advice our HOA board feels confident we picked the right contractor for the job. Many people don't realize that a property management company is only as good as the HOA board. The board has the final say in what gets done or not done. I called the number given on the website to request a copy of rules and regulations for the town house complex I live in. I was asked to press "3" for all questions not related to options "1" or "2". I did that and then I was asked to press "0" to leave a voice mail. I did that and the system went back to the main menu. Dumbfounded, I tried two more times with the same results. I guess they don't want to hear from us. I did post a request in the "contact me" space and I'm keeping fingers, toes, eyes, hairs - everything crossed, that they will actually respond. read more

I lived within a community managed by this company for 2 years 2014-2016 in Plymouth, MN. Once I listed my townhouse for sale I began getting fines for unfounded accustations. 1- Dog feces that could not be proven 2- Outdoor lights that I didn't get a notice on 3- Furniture on the lawn 4- Others by my house parking to close to a driveway 5- Oil on my driveway that a guest left and we cleaned ASAP All these totaled over $600 and even though I appealed and 75% of the accusation/charges could not be proven- they "stayed" the fine. I could not attend the meeting b/c I have to work- single mom- didn't have a choice. BEWARE and WARNED this could happen to you and LANCE will not be reasonable. read more

What a horrible management company! Poor customer service, their employees are very disorganized and the company does some shady business. They took weeks to cash checks and said they never received the check I sent then cashed later. They didn't want to uphold any rules that were supposed to be abided by the residents. I would recommend anyone looking for a place to live make sure Omega is not the management company! Our HOA changed to Omega property management in June 2017. From the time they took over I have only been getting harassing emails from them. From what I have read in other reviews, the company is fining homeowners for little things to enhance their revenue. Basically, homeowner fines are a revenue enhancement scheme for them. I have lived at my property for almost 18 years and this is the first time I am getting non compliance letters. I never received a single non compliance letter from the previous management company.I would NOT recommend any HOA retaining Omega Property Management as a management company. read more

I can not believe how our neighbor has deteriorated over the last 5 years, I blame it on the Omega Property Management. Many of us find that when we call about something they can be really rude to us. I can understand how our dues can keep going up and our development looks like it is 40 years old. When I moved in here I was very impressed with the up keep of the area, now everything looks like it not kept up. Trees are overgrown shrubs are looking half dead and grass looks awful. Also one of the crews they use to do work around here I watched them do something that I should of called the police on. I would not recommend this management company to anyone. read more

Where to begin.....I have lived in a development managed by this company for 3 1/2 years. Our garbage is picked up a certain day of the week. We were told it cannot be out before 5 pm the day before or you could be fined. In addition you had to have it back in your garage the same day evening it was picked up. Here's a question, if you are going out of town for a 3 day trip and put you garbage out the night before and put it back two days later, should you be fined for making a living? Do you know that feeding birds caused a nuisance for your neighbors? Yep, you can get fined for that to. The dues are now at $300.00 as the thousands in reserve are not enough cushion for "future projects". Hell I didn't even know we had a sprinkler system in our development until I saw the bill for irrigation. Here's an idea get more than 2 bids for landscaping, snow removal etc. I actually put a small dresser on the street in the hopes that someone would take it for free the night before garbage pick up. On garbage day the service did not take the dresser and at 6pm that evening a gentlemen from the association told me it must be moved back or I could get fined. My intention was to put it back in the garage but was just waiting for a neighbor to help me carry it. Last but certainly not least, for gods sake do not slip on the ice that the snow removal contractor did not address for three days as you are not covered as a homeowner. Now if you were a guest or visitor you are covered. The list is endless......if you want to live somewhere and be told what to do by an association look for any property managed by this company. read more
