Great little donut shop owned by a wonderful family. Apple fritters are always good with some nice crunchy edges like I like them. This is by far the BEST donut shop in Mansfield hands down! I ordered my son's 6th birthday donuts a couple of days ago and was supposed to pick them up this morning, but couldn't due to the icy and snowy road conditions in Cedar Hill. I called the shop early in the morning and told them I would pick up the customized donuts before they closed. I received a call at 11 am from the donut shop stating that they needed my home address to deliver the donuts so the birthday boy wouldn't be disappointed. Boy oh boy, I was so surprised and shocked to see them arrived at our house safely at 12 pm. I am beyond blessed and super happy for their above and beyond service! Well, after a year and a half of coming here regularly and placing two special orders I finally experienced an issue. How businesses handle issues says a lot in my opinion. Worst experience probably ever as to how this was handled. Crazy honestly! So we spent over $50 for Happy Birthday donuts. It's always been a very pricey donut shop! My husband had instruction to get one of our dozen with sprinkles. I confirmed his understanding of the instruction prior to placing the order and following. He was positive it was placed correctly. Well, donuts got picked up today and there's two issues. I've got only 5 out a dozen with sprinkles and one of the boxes of special ordered letter shaped donuts was overlapping so that frosting came off on the lid of the box and was also lifting off of the donuts on the bottom box and sticking onto other donuts. I called immediately and spoke to Aeisha who was nice, understanding and accommodating. She offered for me to come back immediately, but I couldn't so it was arranged that I could get 6 sprinkled donuts the next day at no extra charge. Fair in my opinion! Well, an employee named Marlin called back and this was where things got weird and insulting. Marlin said she took the order and that only some of the donuts were to have sprinkles. She said she was clear with my husband and I could not get 6 free donuts now. Okay, so I've got 36 donuts costing over $50, 5 with sprinkles (that's much less than some and not the festive birthday touch I was going for) and 6 with messed up frosting with a resolution of coming back and purchasing 6 at a reduced price??? Plus you're calling this miscommunication an error on my husband's part. At the end of the day Marlin gets to hold her head high on her solid ground while OMG donuts loses a customer with a 6 person household who regularly goes there. Plus, I'm a real chatty Kathy so this will be a story I retell often as the interaction was just horrible. Bottom line, great donuts if there's not any issues and you don't mind paying triple going donut rates. However, think twice if you have a special order! Oh, and place your order with Aeisha because she was fair, reasonable, and customer oriented. I've honestly never had anyone call me back to reverse an already arranged agreement. Marlin was very rude, accusatory and insulting in her tone. I will be calling my cc company to dispute part of my charges as I didn't get what we ordered and part of my order was damaged. I walked in today trying to purchase 8 dozen donuts , there was 3 young ladies stocking inventory & 1 Asian man standing around on his phone. There were no other customers in the building!!! I stood there for 3 minutes still no service the Asian man looked at me twice and still continued to text on his phone and not serve me . I definitely felt racially profiled I will not be returning. Pregnancy cravings are real and when they occur, you can't fight it. I was wanting sausage rolls and donuts and I'm so glad OMG donuts makes a mean sausage roll and glazed donut. The jalapeño one was spicy and gave me heartburn but mannn it was so satisfying to eat. I was already halfway through with it on the way to my car :x I like the bread they use for the rolls. The donuts are good here because they're light and fluffy and not too terribly sweet. They can get pretty busy here and the line can be out the door but it moves quickly so don't fret. Stopped by this morning for the first time since we were over in this part of town. Part of the draw was the line OUT THE DOOR. We figured that was a sign these were going to be really good. We got plain glazed and donut holes. Our kids are grown, so the brightly colored and wildly decorated donuts don't hold any appeal for us, just the basics please us. I definitely wouldn't make a special trip to return, and I doubt I would stop again if I happened to be in that area. For us, the "glaze" is too thick- so the result is more of an iced donut (with far more icing that a normal iced donut). I never thought I would say this, but the donuts and the holes were sickeningly sweet. I get it... by definition, a donut is *supposed* to be sweet. But these were simply too sweet due to the heavily applied, thick glaze. The donut itself was fresh and fluffy, but the glaze ruined it. The donut holes, strangely, were not as fluffy. They still had the heavy glaze though. I figure if you can't get the basics right, I'm not interested in trying the fancier stuff. One star for quality of the donuts, and an additional star for the pleasant staff who were doing their best to get everyone served as efficiently as possible. read more

I got the glazed twist, a regular glaze and a chocolate covered donut. The twist was too heavily glazed for my liking. The other two donuts were..well..basic donuts. The donuts are good. However not any different than most donut places. I think the prices are higher than most donut shops. I bought a dozen donuts, two jalapeño sausage rolls & a few mini cinnamon rolls for over $20. I very rarely do donuts and at this price I could do a much better breakfast. Best donut place in Mansfield. Donut holes are as good as the regular donuts. Both are fluffy, and melt in your mouth. Kolaches here are better than average because the sausage is thicker and bigger than normal and less bread. Service here is so friendly, and always greet you with a smile. Even though there is a donut store closer than this one, I always drive the extra minutes because it is that much better. read more
