Surprisingly, I was amazed walking out feeling that pain melting away. I haven't felt this much stress relief in quite a while (7+ months). I do highly recommend this place to anyone experiencing joint/muscle pain and come here immediately after surgery for physical therapy. I really loved that there is a Pearland location! So convenient for us!! They are only in this office on Tuesdays, I believe. Before jumping in with all the good, the main reason for the negative was getting our initial visit. Both my husband and I spoke to the same woman at this office and her first concern was financial. No concern for how the patient was, she was only focused on insurance. Both of us got off the phone saying how rude she she was. Oddly enough, even with insurance we paid $250 for the initial visit... which wasn't *that* much less than if we had to pay the full out of pocket cost. So WHY be so rude about insurance and payment???? It just rubbed us the wrong way. Despite the sourness of the initial interaction, we went ahead with the appointment and we LOVED everyone in the office: from the guy who would bring us back to the room (sorry, I forgot his name but he was always so happy and friendly), to the techs who would do the X-rays, to John (who always did the splints/cast) and of course Dr. Siff. I felt that this office doesn't deal with children A LOT but everyone was so loving and friendly to our child. Dr. Siff was so gentle and patient, answering all questions we had. Another little snag-a-roo we had was when our visit got cancelled by the office. When I called them to reschedule (instead of them calling US to reschedule), they wouldn't be able to get us into this location for another few WEEKS!!!! In another few weeks, our daughter's arm would be healed so we took an appointment in the Houston location. We did NOT like having to drive into the city, park in a garage, navigate up a million floors, etc. It worked out fine but it was still annoying, wish they could have fit us in at the Pearland location since they cancelled the appointment. All in all, we really did love the treatment we were provided by Dr. Siff and Houston Methodist Orthopedics.

As far as the Houston Methodist Sports Medicine facilities go, this is one of the few in the area…read morethat offered water therapy. They have an underwater treadmill as well as an anti-gravity treadmill to get you back up and running. This is also the Methodist physical therapy facility used by many area professional athletes so be aware if you're using your phone to listen to music to get through your exercises that photos (and autograph requests) are not allowed. Therapists here are pretty lax and fun on the personal level, but really keep you on track. Occasionally, they over book patients and you don't get as much personal attention but that's only now and again; usually it occurs because they really work hard to accommodate their patients' schedules. Downside is the location and trying to get back to the city on 288 traffic. Good news, there's a subway next door you can pick up some snacks in case you'll be stuck in traffic.

Dr. Harvi (short for Halaharvi) made him feel comfortable and at ease. We really appreciated her bed side manners. Checking in was also unique. The receptionist appeared live on a computer screen instead of in person. I've seen this at a restaurant but never at a doctor's office. Nonetheless, her office was very welcoming and offered water and coffee for your convenience. Her office was also comfortable as the patient's chair was a recliner instead of the typical table. This made it quite relaxing for my husband to have his minor procedure done.

I recently had my back go out on me while working around the garage. No heavy lifting, simply…read moremoving ordinary household items around for organizing (e.g., ladder, chairs, tools, etc.). I did several yoga stretches that typically work the kinks out of my back when this happens, but this time was different and I would soon find out within the next 12 hours after this. I wake up from my sleep immediately falling out of bed when I thought I told my body I wanted to stand. It took me about 30 min to crawl and make my way to the bathroom and then I laid on the floor for another hour or so. Called up my brother & sister and they both recommended Anthony at Vitruvian. Made the appointment and fortunately Anthony was available and my sister was able to take me to that first appointment. To summarize my first visit, "NO PAIN, NO GAIN." He dug in to my issues and performed some painfully amazing work on my back and other related muscles. Anthony made an excellent assessment coupled with detailed descriptions of what the affected muscle groups were and how my movements would be impacted if left untreated. He gave me an easy to follow regimen of stretches & excercises to do in between my appointments, was incredibly easy to reach (this includes email), and left no questions unanswered. I never felt left in the dark about what his goal was for my back and what my responsibilities were as the patient undergoing PT. Only after 2 appointments with Anthony, my back feels 90% back to where it was before it went out. Why only 90%? Because he helped me realize my posture and how I lift heavy items have always been bad and he's now correcting these decades-long habits in order to save my back and help me live according to my lifestyle, not how I was when I actively played highschool and college football. The physical therapists here are really helpful and sweet, they work with you to overcome your issues that you may be having. The tasks that I had to do was to strength my leg muscles and I worked with one main physical therapist, it was a guy and every day I would have to use this leg press bench and boy was them weights heavy at the time, but they worked to help my leg heal over time. It wasn't a piece of cake at first, but as I progressed towards being able to move, I soon saw results. Now, I don't feel no pain after my terrible accident. Just left with two scars and even have my two titanium rods.
