When we arrived there was no one to greet us and we had to ask around the building about any contact for DEA... we were able to speak to the owner of Eye Level who is located downstairs and he was very helpful and was apologetic about our appointment not being met. The owner of Eye Level said the owner wasn't answering her cell phone or the office line therefore he wasn't sure what to do but apologize... I left expecting an apologetic call from anyone at DEA, instead I get a TEXT about A FEW DAYS LATER saying they were it was for another Saturday and they didn't confirm the date. NO SORRY was included in that text. I forgave the situation as I know life throws us lemons and said ok no problem and rescheduled the trial for the following Thursday evening.... My daughter was welcomed formally and the instructor even let me other two younger sons in the trial class with them which I loved. Afterwards there was again no one to speak with about what the trial was about, I had to go to the receptionist and ask all the questions and mainly see if there was any selling information for me to try to get my children into any of the performing arts programs... The receptionist "Francesca" at first didn't want me to take the registration paper home to consider enrolling my children, I had to ask for a pen/pencil, then let she let me keep the paper and had me write all the pricing and then said I can think about it and she would call me in 1-2 days to follow-up. Well, it's been two weeks and I haven't heard anything. I liked the school atmosphere however the front office service was very unaccommodating for any person who wanted to generally inquire about the school. There were no printed marketing materials for take-home and no follow-up calls. I was considering sending my daughter to this school and even my son because I liked the benefit of working with children in regards to performing arts however for the price and the lack of organization I'd rather look into other options.

You can tell that Maggie (the Director) and her staff are passionate about music. And actually they teach all ages. my husband wants to start learning as well! My 2 girls 6 & 4 are now in summer camp here and they LOVE IT!!!! Music, theater, art & dance- what not to like! The camp counselors are the sweetest and most fun and I have ever seen. My kids come back I inspired and can't wait to go back the next day. Great job to everyone at the camp and to Maggie for running it all!

Every time I would go back to get it they would tell me that the repair guy was away. Or he wasn't there. I trusted them so I never asked them for a receipt thinking hey were trustworthy. I never saw the guitar again, and was never able to get it back because I had no proof or receipt that I took it there. My autistic daughter was so happy with her little green guitar she still asks for it. It's been a couple of years since then. I just want to tell you that you guys have made a 12 year old autistic young girl very unhappy.

We learned a lot about what's important and less important about selecting a first cello. Christina made us both at ease in a calm unrushed environment as my kid played the instrument. Christina made it clear her main interest was in keeping us satisfied after the purchase and building a musical relationship for the longterm. She reserved a cello while we shopped elsewhere. This time we declined the purchase, but it was not for lacking quality, price or service. I won't hesitate to return for our future guitar or cello services. Paul & Joe are great at what they do, and genuinely care about me as a customer, but also as a guitarist. I trust every word of advice that I am given about guitars and all things related to them. I grew so confident through my experience with them, that I had a custom guitar built by Paul. It has been an invaluable piece of my journey as a musician. Amazing place!

I used to get my guitars serviced from Guitar Tech and they were good for awhile. The owner seemed…read morenice and accomodating and his assistant, Joe Belle seemed nice, as well. I always explained I was a 'hobbyist' who casually played the guitar and Joe acknowledged that with some comments. That's fine. I just used to get a set-up, neck adjustment and new strings. They even brought to my attention the fact that my Santa Cruz had something going on with the neck-truss rod and they were right, as Santa Cruz took the guitar back and admitted to having a bad batch of truss rods. Anyway, when my Blonde Goodall got scratched on the headstock, I was upset but said nothing. I just never went back! I read some of the reviews about Guitar Tech and just figured it wasn't worth mentioning. A finishing repair isn't so easy to repair and it never looks the same. It matters to me because sometimes I sell/trade my guitars. I don't have that much room or spend that much time playing them like maybe a more serious guitar player would! Not trying to bad mouth these guys but they should be a little more mindful/careful with others' instruments because there are people out there who take good care of them! Manhattan was also getting a little out-of-the-way for me. I am in Queens and their hours have changed. So, a little inconvenient, as well. The trains don't always run so well and driving to the city is at times very inconvenient! Other than that, I have nothing against Paul Nieto or Joe Belle. They seem to be pretty nice fellas.
