I called a couple of places & no one was willing to come out to take care of the situation but one place told me Drakes maybe able to help. Called Drakes & Mark came to my place to fix the brake & winterized the boat right in my garage!! Fantastic service. Mark was quite friendly, professional & did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Drakes & will definitely be calling on Mark for all my future service needs on my boat and trailer. Thank you Mark.

And he said he could get me back on the water before the end of the season. So I said hey let's do it! Over all they work a lot! So my father in law also piped his 496 HO mercrusier in his fountain fever. And he took it there to LITERALLY JUST GET THE MOTOR SWAPED. HAD A MOTOR put in. And the motor thst was put in for some reason did not Dyno the power it came from Michigan motors with. It was sent back and some how lost about hp!? And now for the remaining of the story. I've had some pretty concerning issues with my boat after I got it back it drove fine but it was missing a lot of stuff and a lot of stuff was unplugged. Probably gave them a little bit more than they could chew. So I had mentioned doing a mild cam and more fuel to my 7.4 L thunderbolt engine. Find further inspection I couldn't help but noticing that some of my spark plug wires seem to be used in mangled, so I started digging further also noticed my heads look like they had been painted black, but I didn't think that could be possible... they said they were gonna add more fuel and put a crane marine camshaft in... On further inspection I started just taking stuff apart because now I'm not trusting anything.. I found the back of the fuel water, separator filter head spray, paint drips off the back of it so then I've panicked and started digging even deeper. The carburetor they put on was an automotive street carburetor which whatever. But then come to find out it's all cobbled together. And the fuel pump that's mounted next to the fuel filter. I decided to take that off because I was having fuel issues. I'll have all the pictures below. All of this is just going to be some evidence of what there quality of work is. Make sure your inspect the work before you make payment.
