I've had ZERO problems with Ochsner in the 10+ years I've been here but I most definitely will NOT be back at this location! Beware. I will preface my review by noting that I have seen chiropractors for over 30 years and…read morenever had a bad experience...until Broadmoor Chiropractic Clinic. I visited Broadmoor Chiropractic Clinic to relieve pain in my neck. Dr. Peele told me that my poor posture contributed to the pain and that I needed traction to help realign my spine. On the second visit, while laying prone on the adjustment table, excruciating pain shot thru my chest as he forcibly pressed down; it felt like I had been struck in the chest with a baseball bat. I screamed and told Dr. Peele I couldn't breath. Dr. Peele showed little concern. He did not examine my ribs or chest or give me any advice for symptoms to watch out for. Later that day bruises appeared on my chest and I began to experience difficulty breathing. I called the clinic. I was told that the doctor "might" call me back if he felt he needed to talk to me. Dr. Peele did not return my call. When I did not hear from Dr. Peele, I called my primary care physician. My PCP did a physical exam of my chest and ordered X-rays. Fortunately, none of my ribs showed any cracks or breaks. Within a week, my breathing mostly returned to normal, but it took nearly 4 months for the pain in my chest to fully subside. Once I healed, my primary care doctor recommended I see a physical therapist for my neck pain. The PT asked about my sleeping position (stomach) and type of pillow (feather). She recommended sleeping on my back and switching to an ergonomic neck pillow. Within a few days, my neck pain began to subside. Combined with the exercises she prescribed, the neck pain faded within a month. Dr. Peele never once asked about my sleeping habits or any other factors that might contribute to my neck pain. I realize that accidents happen and that even the most competent practitioners make mistakes, but Dr. Peele's apparent lack of concern, his failure to perform even a rudimentary examination of my chest, order x-rays or even return my phone call following the incident leave me concerned. I can not recommend Dr. Peele.
