After some investigation, it turned out it was the main line that was backed up because of tree roots getting into the pipes. Hometown cleared out all the roots and we even got to send a camera down to make sure all was good which was fun to watch! It ended up being a bigger job than what I called them for but they took the extra time to get it done and make sure it was done right. The best part was the bill which I would have expected to have been much higher for weekend service but it was very reasonable. I will definitely call Hometown Sewer and Drain again the next time I have a drain issue.

We discovered during escrow on a small farm that there were two entirely failed septic systems on…read morethe property. Both our agent and the seller's agent highly recommended American On Site (AOS) for the work. AOS gave a fair and detailed bid in a timely manner. Despite work being backed up across the area due to weather, they were able to start the process quickly. As we discovered, putting in septic systems is a multi step process, requiring visits from the county during planning and building. Throughout the entire process, AOS kept us informed about everything that was going on, gave us accurate estimates as to the time that it would take, and worked with us to overcome a very difficult hurdle with the county when there was a discrepancy in the records in regards to the house that could have led to a dramatic increase in cost. AOS finished the work when they said they were going to, and did an absolutely beautiful job with it. Every person that we dealt with from AOS, from Chris who planned the job, to the wonderful grandpa that finished putting the yards back together with an expert touch on the excavator, to the very patient girls in the office who responded to all my numerous questions and concerns, were friendly, knowledgable, and professional.
