Although communication was spotty both Henry and Travis were very efficient with the install and chimney repairs. Henry pointed out that the front top of the onset was scuffed. They called in and got a replacement. Unfortunately for Travis who returned the following week with the replacement that part was also damaged. Travis called all over town for a replacement after regency told him to just touch up paint. Seriously??? How much did we pay for this thing!!! Lucky for us Travis found a part and made sure it wasn't damaged and installed. The 4 stars was because we had to call to follow up on scheduling since didn't get email of confirmation. Would recommend murphys but steer clear of regency products. If they aren't willing to replace damaged parts it's not worth spending the extra money. Also regency doesn't mention or show in any of their brochures the eyesore digital catalytic combustor monitor. It's attached to the side of the insert and has a purpose but they need to let consumers know that this ugly thermostat exists. We were blindsided when it was installed (no fault of murphys) and if you don't have it installed it may null and void warranty. Yes I'll post bad review for regency in as many places as I can find. Thank you Henry and especially Travis for taking the time to find resolution for this issue.

I spoke with the owner (after 4 days of responding to emails and phone call attempts) and I paid for 1/2 of this job up front so he would order the part needed for my stove. 4 weeks went by and I'd heard nothing. Gave them a call and the number was disconnected. 450 is what I paid up front.... So I disputed it with the credit card company to get my money back. Thank God I didn't pay with a debit card. It's super interesting because I was gonna have a mini split installed in my ADU by them only to never here back... be warned.

(We couldn't afford a complete rebuild in any case.) Lifetime Chimney saved us! They completed some repairing so they could install a cover/ cap, and they pressure washed the chimney. Miguel did an excellent job and was very kind. When I first called in, I spoke with Brian who was incredibly helpful! I was worried when I called in, but Brian explained what they needed to do. He patiently gave me clear information. The chimney looks great and it makes the house look great. We're relieved to have it protected now. I would hire this company again!

The employees will admit that they "don't have the best system" and can't seem to get to the screens they need to help answer questions. In other news, their repairs are only temporary and they try to upsell to new systems even though they putting the older system. We've used them for way too long but there just isn't anyone else in town to do the job. At the end of this transaction the worker was nice enough use his hand truck to take the chemicals out to the car.

We got a huge fire going in the wood stove and we to bed, only to wake up at 11 to a house filled with smoke, and a chimney pipe that was red hot and spitting sparks. We called every chimney company in town on Sunday. Cascade was the first to get back to us Monday morning and they scheduled us for the very next day. They quoted us $1,850 and promised it would look "professional and clean" within two days. What a joke. They showed up late both days, left huge piles of old leaves and branches scattered across the yard for us to deal with, and barely touched half the shrubs. The mulch they dumped is uneven, full of sticks and weeds, and they spread it way too thin in some spots and piled it up against the house in others--like they were trying to hide the fact they didn't weed first. Now my foundation is probably going to rot. The lawn edging looks like it was done with a drunk weed eater. Crooked lines everywhere, and they scalped the grass in several patches so bad it's brown already. One of my rhododendrons got completely hacked up--branches just snapped off and left lying there. When I called to complain, the owner got defensive and basically said "that's how it's supposed to look" and "you should have been more specific." We paid half upfront like they asked, and now they're dragging their feet on coming back to fix anything. I had to spend another $300 just to have a different crew come clean up their mess so our yard doesn't look abandoned. Save yourself the headache and money. There are plenty of honest landscapers in Sherwood and Tigard who actually know what they're doing. This company ruined our spring curb appeal and wasted two weekends of my time. Never again.

BUT she defended her staff and TRULY likes her staff, and her retention rate was great, she mentioned. Okay, I will take her on her word. In comes the first deep clean..here we go. She warned me it was a FULL day.. and it was. When I tell you there were no less than 10 people in this house top and bottom floors, I'm not joking. I watched them like bees in a hive. I've owned rental properties throughout the Midwest, I've retained MANY move in, move out and continual cleaning services. But I have never seen what they did. None of them spoke a word. Yet in tandem, did things I never even thought to do. There was no weird odor, no smell, no chit chat, no laughing no talking no nonsense. This group was HERE TO DO A JOB. I sat here, in my chair, in AWE and watched as [what I call kids..all in their 20's and 30's] worked like a successful unit. Here is the truth-I was exhausted. It almost brought tears to my eyes. Watching my home being transformed into something immaculate, my sanctuary becoming spotless. One by one cleaning and picking up as they went, by the end of an 8 hour day they were gone and I had not recognized my home by clock out time. What they did, SHE SAID THEY WOULD DO. No sitting on their phones, no loud music, no TEXTING, NO TALKING TO ONE ANOTHER WASTING TIME.. I was so appreciative you have no idea. I watched them ALL like hawks, but there was ZERO to watch for. It has been months now, and today was my cleaning day. You will not know they are there. You will not know they are gone. I am still in awe, I am STILL as grateful as ever and they will have a lifelong client as long as they are in business. This is a 100% factual based review. I have no skin in this game, I do not know them, but I will tell you this. THEY ARE A PHENOMENAL BUSINESS MODEL. And you would be foolish not to try to secure their services.

He was going to return in the morning at 9:00 to install it. He also told me the cost and informed we can make two monthly payments if we wanted to. The next morning our doorbell rang at 8:00. I did not see Dave but there were three other at the door along with two large service trucks. I told them they were an hour early and one of them said they were able to get here an hour early. By 9:00 or so they were done. A little while later Dave, who was here last night said another company found out and jumped ahead of Dave and (in my words) literly stole the job from Dave. This other company misrepresented themselves and interestingly never gave us a price. Later Dave showed up to apologize what happened. In essence the other company misrepresented it self which can be construed as fraud and mis-representation. I would think the contractors board would take an interest in this.

Dealing with him throughout our purchase of a new Lennox gas furnace and air purifier was a great experience and gave us confidence in the purchase and installation. He is a credit to the company for sure. The installation was excellent and professional. Andy, Darrel and one other (sorry can't remember their name) were just great. Finally, Gavin came out several times to tweak our furnace and thermostat. Can't say enough about this young man, knowledgeable, personable and more than anything, very patient. I came home to my AC being out yesterday, July 4th of all days, and it was super hot out. Worse still was that we are expecting a scorcher going into this holiday weekend. So I called Home Comfort Inc. this morning at 8AM to see if they could fit me into their schedule, fully expecting to be told it would be a week or two until someone could come out. To my surprise they told me a technician would be out between noon and 2:00PM. Well the technician, Dan, arrived about 11:30 and had the problem diagnosed and fixed before our scheduled appointment time. And as usual the price was fair. These guys are amazing. During the heat-wave this last summer, my furnace gave out. The temperature of our upper floor got up to 89°F. A friend referred me to Home Comfort Inc. and they were able to install a new Lennox furnace on the SAME DAY!!! They sell quality products and provide professional service. Within 2 hours, John was working on the heat pump. Not only was he a pleasant man to deal with, he was knowledgeable, showed me exactly what was wrong and what he was doing, and he did so quickly and efficiently. The office staff was great, too. I can't rave enough about this company.

He diagnosed the problem after a leak check, checked their history on the heat pump, called the office for more info, and I was told I needed refrigerant and a new compressor. The company called the manufacturer and because it wasn't that old the compressor was provided to me at no cost, and also a discount on the refrigerant. The new part arrived a few days later, Tim showed up timely and obviously knew what he was doing. He installed things, double checked my thermostat, answered my questions and provided a written description of his work. I was very happy with my experience with Mill Creek Heating and this employee!

Our A/C quit working in the middle of a 100+ degree heatwave. I contacted several companies, but most could not make a service trip to me for several days. I was pleasantly surprised that Whirlwind could make it out the next day. Turns out they are great at what they do. Ivan spoke with me on the phone to discuss what was wrong and what might be the cause that night. The next morning, he was here by 9:30am to trouble shoot. Within an hour the A/C was up and running and Ivan had put everything back as it was. Costs were very reasonable and, more importantly, they were exactly as stated before arrival. I liked most that Whirlwind was great at communicating with me, the customer. Both over the phone and in person. They were clear about the types of problems I could be facing with a 17+ year old system and what the worse case might be (full replacement since my A/C uses a now banned refrigerant). While they checked out the system, they kept me informed every step of the way and I earned a few things. When they finished, everything was put back in place, just as it was when they arrived. He removed eight screws he put back only for. He left the electric box cover up. He pretended he heard a hissing noise and he showed me a cap that did not belong to my unit saying that the refrigerant leaked out. He was sent to me - mandatorily, I did not ask for this vendor. He works with Fidel national home warranty - I was not informed the other vendors in the area. I had to have a second vendor come out - he opened another panel inside the garage unit, found a partial road sign stuck in there to literally slowdown refrigeration leak. I am speechless, dumbfounded, extremely disappointed that such flakes are employed. This vendor would not even recognize me the following day . He sounded drunk on the phone. My husband and I thought he was senile when he was diagnosing the system. He kept dropping his cell phone while he was trying to hold two wires together at at a time - apparently trying to measure electrical output, which he told me I had none -- but I do have 100% electrical output and the outdoor Carrier con unit is working just fine! Do not use this vendor unless you want to be sabotaged. Huge, enormous, very bad, horrible experience - you would do not want to repeat personal!

What a great team they have. I never once felt pushed into getting a complete new system, they did come out a few times to do everything they could to keep it running but alas, it was time. I am truly happy with the results! I was taken through my whole system, once completed they went over everything, left my house as clean as they found it. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs work done on any furnace or air conditioning! He advised they service the Portland area by appointment. I asked if it would be possible to schedule an appointment while I was in town. He was accommodating and worked with my schedule. Nate (technician) showed up during the scheduled window. In fact, he was 30 minutes early. After an hour or so, Nate identified the cause of the problem. He had a suggestion on how to remedy the problem, but advised he wanted to confer with Jason. I received a call the following day from Jason with a quote that I felt was very reasonable. The quote included both labor and materials. The work has been completed. I am very satisfied with how quickly they were able to resolve the issue. Jason offers very personalized service.
