Unfortunately, my most recent visit made it clear that I need to change providers. Our appointment was scheduled for 8:30 a.m. We arrived on time, and after vitals were taken, we were told to wait for the doctor. We waited over an hour before Dr. Blair came in around 9:30. When she arrived, she was extremely rushed, did not listen carefully, and did not give my concerns the attention they deserved. The appointment was for two of my children. Before I could fully discuss my concerns for my first child, the doctor closed the chart and moved on to the second child. When I tried to bring up an additional concern for my first child--something I had scheduled the appointment for--I was told it could not be addressed and that I should use telehealth instead. I was also told she needed to leave because another patient was waiting. I understand doctors are busy, but when an appointment is scheduled, parents should feel heard--especially when it comes to children's health. The experience felt rushed and transactional, not caring or patient-centered. It was clear that multiple patients were scheduled at the same time, which affected the quality of care. This was a very disappointing and stressful experience, and it ultimately led me to decide to change pediatricians. I hope the practice considers scheduling changes and communication improvements so families feel respected and cared for.

However, the front office staff and office policies have not been a good experience. I recently moved out of state and attempted to access my records via the patient portal and could not access them. Per an email request, I received a phone call saying I could complete a form for my new physician (I've already done this) and if I wanted my records I could PAY A FEE for them to be provided via CD. I have two overwhelming concerns: 1) I and/or my insurance company have paid through the nose for medical care for the past 8 years; and 2) who uses CDs anymore-- new computers don't come with a CD drive! What century are you in? Everything is cloud-based now and precisely why I should be able to access my records via the portal. As an example, I can access my Emory and Mayo Clinic records today (some are over 2 decades old and others over a decade old). This is a terrible business practice and nothing but a MONEY MAKER for this practice. I'm hugely disappointed in this nonsensical practice. And, I would also be concerned about a medical office SNAIL MAILING private, medical records. Isn't this a HIPAA privacy concern?

I have walked down the hall to look for someone to help my mom and they say, "I will go find her" (the nurse or CNA assigned to that room/person). Or, "It will be a minute, she is on break." REALLY? Sometimes I cannot find anyone. My mom needed help in the bathroom and I told her to pull the cord. I went out to see if anyone was coming and check if the light was actually on in the hall. It was on, but no one was there to help. I had to go find someone to help me with my mom on the toilet. As they were getting my mom off the toilet, other patients rolled down the hall in their wheelchairs to tell me their very similar stories. This is unacceptable! I understand working with the sick and elderly is tough, but you applied for that job! You chose to get your education in that field because you wanted to make a difference. I was hoping it was a positive and meaningful difference you wanted to make. Not one that made some of these elderly people's last few weeks or months absolute hell! Doctor Stewart was who we saw this evening and she was amazing! Gave us a full evaluation and gave us good remedies. Was happy with the results. In and out within an hour in a half despite all the children there. Really good to see the level of care dedicated to pediatrics. Will definitely come back to this location. One thing to note - they do not open until 11am. That is the only downfall!

They told me at the front desk that there were 16 patients ahead of me and that every kid in there has a fever. My sense of urgency for MY CHILD was not their sense of urgency!! I left immediately to take my child elsewhere. They were so unprofessional!!!!!! They asked me if I could sign out so I wouldn't be charged! No I can not! My son is SICK! I will never return to this urgent care ever again! I will always do what's best for my child. Be mindful before you take your child here!

My mother would call for help and no one would come. I hired a person to come sit with my mom and they found a way to kick her out of the building because she was bringing up issues of negligence to attention. I was traveling and a friend stopped by to see my mom. She called me hysterical because my mom was in her urine and feces . I have photos of this happening TWICE. But the worst part is my mother had been complaining of pain in her leg. I asked the staff to do an x-ray. They never did. After my friends call I took my mother out in 24 hours and put her in a 4 bedroom home. They proactively did the xrays and determined my mom fractured her hip. That is a death sentence. My mother told me she tried to get up to go to the bathroom after waiting forever, and she fell. She was #&#(#(@ BLIND!! How hard is it to help someone to the bathroom??? I guess to Tucker Wellness, it was worth letting her die. I had few options for my mother as she was on Medicaid. In hindsight I should have not gone back to work and just let everything go financially to keep my mother alive. It wasn't worth it. My mother died in pain. DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONES HERE IF THEY ARE UNABLE TO MOVE AROUND, TALK, SEE OR THINK FOR THEMSELVES.

Inside, the building actually makes sense--floors are organized by function, and we never got lost trying to figure out where we needed to be. After experiencing so many hospitals that feel like mazes from decades of renovations, this hospital is a remarkable example of great planning and efficient operation. But what truly stood out was the staff. Every single person--from the security guard who greeted us warmly at the entrance, to the receptionist who walked us to the right areas instead of just pointing, to the nurses who checked in with us while we waited while imparting genuine care for our relative, this place oozes of excellence. The surgeon took the time to explain everything clearly and answer our questions without making us feel rushed.
