He showed me NOTHING of his work, he did absolutely NOTHING, told me he did work but showed me NOTHING, then told me to get the hell out of his office. Absolutely uncalled for an unprofessional. On top of that they said they "lost" my thumb drive in there folder, but after 6 weeks of calling the office they said they found it. Curious enough while working with this agency I had another private investigator assigned to my case who told me he had been subpoeneaed to testify in court where he was paid bribes to falsely testify and send an innocent man to prison. Your knowledge of my conversations with your associate is 2nd-hand. I'm not saying she's untruthful, but there was a miscommunication. I was clear with her from the outset that I was interested exclusively in learning the cell phone numbers of two people. If she'd told me that you have no way to do that, this dispute would have been avoided. Instead, she quoted me a price of $250, plus $10 more for using a credit card, which I paid. There's nothing in the report I received that I hadn't seen already in a Whitepages report I paid $5 for. If you can't do better, you should subscribe to Whitepages and drop your other database subscriptions. More to the point, your report didn't identify the 2 cell phone numbers I paid you for. I gave your associate an opportunity to reach a negotiated settlement. She said she'd speak with you about it. After 24 hours elapsed with no response, I posted my first review. My purpose should be no mystery. The Internet offers many ways for customers who've been cheated to call attention to a business' misbehavior. There are others. I offer you 3 options: 1. Provide the 2 cell phone numbers I paid you for. 2. Refund my $260, plus $40 more as token compensation for my trouble. 3. Continue as-is. This is not only the most unprofessional private security firm I've ever encountered, but they are…read moredefinitely an additional danger to the peace and safety of those they are contractually bound to protect. Earlier this year I was the *victim* of several heartbreaking incidents of domestic violence. Time and time again Garver personnel made me feel as though I were somehow in the wrong though I was uncontrovertibly the victim in every act, never the aggressor, revictimizing me anew each time I would need their assistance. (They must have taken a page out of the CPD's handbook as far as that goes.) The situation deteriorated to the point that security guards said they would not even respond if called again about such an incident. (Not that they usually came in a terribly timely manner anyway, or that they bothered to come at all each time there was a life-threatening emergency.) Yet when this same person assailant allegedly assaulted one of a security guard also, strangely Garver did not even bother to press criminal charges; guards just said they would "light him up" when they saw him on the property again, apparently violence and vigilantism are the preferred problem resolution method of this rogue band of "protectors," rather than seeking resolution of the problem within the constraints of our judicial system. Garver Asset Protection employees soon after used derogatory language involving sexual orientation, echoing over their loud radios across the parking lot of a gas station they had no business loitering around instead of their post, and somehow found it appropriate to make "a joke" about religion then repeat it when it was not well received. They didn't even bother to notify the actual police when they witnessed a hit and run while I was reporting being robbed at gunpoint in my under-lit parking lot. To top it off, guards just maliciously had my vehicle towed after harassing me for a few days about it. I had the misfortune of getting a couple tires flattened when I ran over collision debris that had not yet been blocked off or removed. My vehicle had only been sitting in my parking lot a few days while another car in the very same parking lot has been sitting on all flat tires for nearly -- if not more than -- a full year. This egregious conduct by people in such a position of trust and authority is a clear violation of my civil rights and encroachment on my basic dignity as a human being. I would not recommend this company to anyone, for anything. It's troubling to think that these people are allowed to carry guns.
