It intertwined with another white pine in my neighbor's yard. They separated the two with very minor limb breakage to my neighbor's tree. The second tree was smaller by still pretty substantial. It was already dying, so probably a little lighter than a healthy tree. They lifted that tree off in one piece. They had both trees cut down and chopped up, with final cleanup in about two hours.

Sven was the first to respond. He offered to come out immediately after normal work hours for a free quote. He thoroughly inspected the tree and assured me that it wasn't in imminent danger of falling over. That night he sent over a quote that was substantially lower than I had feared it would. That said, I have to say I'm unhappy with the logistics. It was difficult to schedule with Tree Lion. They forgot to put me in their schedule and rescheduled last minute. They also were the only contractor who did not come do a site survey before giving me a quote, which led to a logistical issue of where to stage the bucket lift and needing to drive the large truck in between our fence posts. I did explicitly say we were planning on replacing the fence, so I am not particularly upset, but I have to mention on this review that he bent our fence post with the truck and did not mention it to us. Imo, just a few avoidable logistical issues. Great tree service? Yes, absolutely. Good work and good value. Professional conduct? I'm sorry to say could be better.

We've bought seedlings of all sorts here, and never had a problem transplanting them in the garden. And the houseplants I've gotten recently were healthy and pest-free. My new purple clematis is also doing really well! If you're looking for perennials, most of them are outside on the display tables. Indoors, you'll find more annuals and houseplants that need a bit more controlled humidity and warmth. There are tree saplings out back and more greenhouses to check out. There's even a small furniture shop upstairs. The shop inside is full of quirky products, and as always, super fun to browse or pick out seed packets to try germinating at home. Staff are really friendly and know their stuff. If you're having trouble finding something, they can point you in the right direction or place an order for something that's not in stock. That's how we got our shishito pepper plants this year! Very excited to see how they turn out.
