I've found cute clothing and shoes for decent pricing. HOWEVER, the aisles are too narrow. Especially for strollers. The toy area is an absolute mess and has pieces of toys thrown around, broken, and completely unorganized. I recommend going to Mickayla's Place for second hand toys any day. read more

This place is a joke! It's full of people with attitudes, for no good reason. I have tried to sell clothes on three separate occasions and was told "they're cut off". Keep in mind that each time was early day and they were fully staffed. I understand it's hard to be busy at work, but door advertise that you buy used baby merchandise, but are too lazy to do so. This place really needs a attitude adjustment and new staffing. If you need to sell stuff, look else where, because they'll have a new excuse every time. read more

If you even waste your time looking here you'll see the clothes are just nasty, faded, pilled, stained, old junk that I wouldn't take if you paid me. Good luck finding anything name brand it's all wash worn Walmart clothing. I'm not sure who is picking these items and passing on high end clothing. The rude teenagers behind the counter are sloppy and have no clue what they're doing for minimum wage. The owner looks like a pervert. Just avoid all around. read more

Nice boutique for gently used children clothing, toys, and items for the room. The employees are nice and the store and clothes are clean. However; as someone who tries to sell items, I think they lowball extremely on how much they offer you and in return more than double the prize when they sell these items themselves. Also, the owner goes to every Fort Benning Yardsale and I have seen him trying to extremely bargain for used items that he then sells for a much higher prize. The staff at Once Upon a Time are always professional and courteous. The clothes they sell are great quality. From the moment they answer your phone call they are eager to answer questions and offer information. I needed last minute school uniforms because of a mail order that didnt come in as promised. They were pulled for me and held until I got there. Customer service is something alot of businesses lack but not this one. Let me just say WOW! I love this place for so many reasons. The prices are amazing, I spent $14 one time and got a bunch of clothes, and then $37 today and got a giant bag full of cute, name brand clothes that look new! The store is organized by gender, size, and tops/pants/etc so it's easy to shop around. Onesies are 10/$10- which is amazing cause they have a great selection. They have toys, strollers, books, shoes, clothes, pretty much everything you need. The staff has been friendly every time I've been there. (I have to compliment them on their buyers cause all of the stuff is in really good condition) It's a great place to get cute baby stuff on a budget- I highly recommend it :) read more

The prices are great and quality/condition of the merch is fantastic. BUT the place is jam-packed and hard to shop. You can't pass anyone in any of the aisles. If there's more than a couple customers in there, it's impossible to get around. If someone is in your way, you have to wait for them to move on or go all the way to the other side of the store to go around. They also don't give you much at all for your stuff. I know this contributes to their great prices, but you only get a third of what they resell it for and their prices are already less that you can resell it for yourself. This is fine for cheap stuff but in designer or boutique items are best sold on your own. read more

Buying stuff in this place is great but trying to sell stuff is a nightmare. First of all the owners should probably hire people who are nicer who don't have an attitude I get there's just two workers in there and I get you get overwhelmed but let's face it it's children's clothing it's not that hard of a job. You don't have to have an attitude with people. Secondly I get that everywhere is understaffed right now but I was the second person to drop Stuff off this morning to sell I go back almost 2 hours later and they're not even done with the first box and just to put it out there the first lady barely had anything so how are you not done by now just doesn't make sense to me and then when I go back in and see if mines ready after two hours the girl cops an attitude and says we're just understaffed excuse me lady we are all understaffed around here but it shouldn't take you two hours to go through one box. The prices are very low because they do not pay the sellers a decent price for the clothes. The going consensus is $1.88 an item IF they want it. The store is neatly organized for people shopping, but the sellers lose money. If you're selling, go to eBay. read more

This is such a great store. Everyone who works here from the manager to the cashiers is so nice and helpful. I love that I can find reasonably priced clothing that doesn't look exactly like every other item of clothing in the stores right now. I wanted to get some spring clothes for my son and daughter but i don't have a lot of money so i took some of my kids gently used name brand clothing to the store and traded them in for the clothes in the store. I got a bag full of clothing for two kids for me only 40 dollars that's not bad at all! The staff was very friendly and helpful with the whole process. This is my favorite store! read more

However, I dropped some clothes off to sell and was told that I would receive a text once they were ready for pickup, but I never received the text. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! I will NEVER come into this store again... To buy or sell! I took 2 big totes of clothes into the store to sell. Some of the clothes were still brand new with the tags still on them. I am extremely careful about my daughter's clothes and everything is always clean and free of stains. I was shocked when they only took a few items. As I was browsing the racks, I saw clothes in worse shape than the ones I brought in to sell. They wouldn't even take the brand new items. When I questioned them, the girl behind the counter became rude and refused to reconsider my items. Great second hand store for kids clothes from new born all the way up to size 18!! Store stocks swings, bassinets, tubs, everything you need for your little one. Only thing I did not see was a car seat. Toys galore. Shoes galore! Even dance shoes. Bows, teething necklaces, you name it. read more

Mickaylas Place in Columbus Ga definitely gives you more money for you lightly used items. Some of the staff is rude, loud, and obnoxious. It seems they have an attitude when people bring items in to sell them as if they don't want to be there. I looked at quite a few items in the store that were definitely overpriced and dirty. I have been into Once Upon A Child many times and each time the service seems to decline. My most recent experience has been the worst yet. I was with a friend attempting to sell items and the ladies up front acted as if I was an inconvenience to them, especially the nasty pregnant girl. None of them wanted to help me, they were making rude faces, rolling their eyes, and had attitudes with me and my friend throughout the whole process. We weren't impressed with the buying process as a whole and even less impressed with the service we received from the entire staff, less one girl in the back who looked at everyone's attitudes towards me with disapproval. I may come back to the store because I have been a loyal shopper, but I will just say I do not receive negative treatment when I shop at Mickayla's place. They will see more of my business since they are genuinely interested in my business.. read more
