DO NOT SELL YOUR USED BABY GEAR HERE. Extremely deceptive and dishonest. I dropped off a Momma Roo which is a top of the line baby swing. They lied, repeatedly, when they told me the retail cost. This company bases their buy prices off of lowest retail price. Being in a financial bind, I accepted the offer even though I had doubts. They quoted a much lower price than what I expected. When I did check the price, I realized they made a mistake (perhaps) and went back into the store to discuss the issue. Upon entering the store, I explained it might be a mistake and was told there was nothing to be done. One of the girls kept insisting the price was for $170 for the swing. That price is for a refurbished swing. There is a lower price point swing by the same manufacturer that sells for $160. Refurbished swings that are the same model as mine sell for $170 while brand new swings sell for $220. They offered to return the swing back to me but I refused as I'm in a financial bind at the moment. They didn't care enough to do proper diligence when purchasing my items. That means they won't treat you right either. When I called them out on it, they went above and beyond to embarrass me and make it seem like I was in the wrong. It was humiliating. At one point, one of the clerks said there was staining on the web belt (it's not gross just minor) and stated she wouldn't sell it for more than $80. They even went as far as to show pricing (for a refurbished swing) at $170. I tried to point out that it was refurbished but the girl wouldn't even go to the online store page so I could show her. So not only did they take advantage of me, they tried to save face in front of their customers by making me look like I was a deranged woman. Do not sell your baby gear here. Ive never had a good experience there but this last one was the worst. I drive 45 minutes to get to any location but this time we headed towards vestal and thought we should go there. I had a lot of toys and as soon as I walked in the girls were all rude. Immediately ran over and said buying was over at 4. My issue is their Facebook still says buying monday through Saturday is until 6. Had they changed the times on their Facebook I wouldnt have wasted my time Or I would have planned to go earlier. After I showed them their mistake with my phone they just looked at me like I was crazy and wouldnt help me. maybe train your employees on what customer service is and also update your online hours on all social platforms! Will definitely be taking my service to the Syracuse one, better customer service and wayyyy bigger and cleaner! read more

My first experience with this place was not a positive one. The staff is rude and act as though you are bothering them when they have to wait on you or answer questions. I received VERY little for the clothing they purchased from me, especially considering the high prices they resell them for. They do not provide sellers with a broken down list of the items they chose to purchase, so I'm glad I thought to ask about a specific pair of boots I had taken...new with $60 price tag still attached. When I inquired as to whether or not they chose to keep these and for how much, I was told yes and that they were willing to pay me $1.20 for them. Unbelievable! Needless to say, these boots came back home with me. I will not step foot in this place again. read more

"Angela and Jordan" who would not give full names.. distributed very poor customer service. They would not take brand new items in the gift bag as given WITH TAGS. All these items were designer names. They claimed wrinkles, and stains on unused and unworn clothing in a home with no pets. These clothes never left the shopping bag. What concerns me most is the way I was spoken to when I questioned it, and then they hung up on me. I asked to speak to a higher up manager and was denied that. This is clearly a scam shop and should be out of business. Don't waste your time, this is not a real business... And rude to boot. Living in Broome County I find it odd considering these clothes ranged from anywhere from Nordstrom to Target. Waste of time and rude. I give a year before they are out of business. Very slow in reviewing items brought in for sale. 5 staff on. I'm the only customer and was informed I have an hour and half wait time . I do realize that there are other items in que ahead, but with 5 staff just standing there and no other customers, 90 minutes seems very excessive to preview 12 items of my own. I have never been to this place of business before and will never return. Unless your looking for infant clothes, the older sizes have slim pickings. A person would find better deals and quality if they watched for sales at stores like Target and Old Navy. The prices would be comparable, with a better selection. read more

This is my "go to" store for my kid's clothes. It's got a large selection - though it's based on what people bring in, so it can be feast or famine. They are good about vetting the clothing so that it's all in good condition. (Also you should expect them to refuse a lot of the things you bring in to sell.) Lots of brand names for a fraction of the prices they are at retail. I've only had good customer service there. read more

Honestly there hasn't been a good experience for us yet there. The staff doesn't greet you when you come in and cannot seem to be bothered to help with questions. Their prices are comparable to new clothes but that may be because unless you bring them something that is basically brand new on a hanger they won't accept it. There are plenty of other thrift stores that are friendlier and better priced. read more

LOVE this Once Upon A Child!! I live in Florida and whenever we are in the area, I always save whatever clothes my kiddos are done with and bring them to this store!! I feel they pay decent money for the clothing you bring in. The store is well organized, prices are fair, and clothing is in great shape!! I also try and wait till we are in the area to get my kids any clothing they need from here as well. I have mailed boxes of clothes home to Florida that I have purchased here! I would not recommend. If you try to sell items to them, they will completely rip you off! Ex. You bought a piece of baby gear for $249 originally. They will sell it for $100 and only give you $50 back . They will reduce the price even more by half then decide to only give you 20% of the prophets. Only because they really don't know what they are selling. They have mostly teens working there. They don't even know what half the baby items are used for so the actual cost they are clueless about. They made us wait over two hours to decide if they wanted to sell maybe 4 items of ours. I bought another baby item from them once and had to return it because it had been recalled years before. They neglected the recall notice initially until I pointed out my research. The price they charge for some items you can honestly find better deals of new items in stores. During sales or by buying used privately. I wouldn't go there anymore to support them because they rip sellers off, ridiculous prices ,have an inexperienced sales team. read more
