Established in 2023.

Once Upon a Fairy Tale was created by Erynn Weatherford on February 1, 2023. She wanted to create an outlet where all children can learn about self -empowerment and the important lessons of their favorite fairytale and comic characters. Once Upon a Fairy Tale aims to not only create an outlet for children, but also to inspire adults to remember the magic of their childhood. Additionally, She felt that creating a company that provided a safe space for performers of all backgrounds and abilities was as important as it was necessary. This notion was not only for the cast, but for the children who don't always see themselves in the media they are exposed to. OUAF believes accessibility is a right, not a luxury. The aim of the company as a whole is to bring magic to people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.

Meet the Business Owner: Erynn W.

Hi! I am the owner and operator of OUAF. I have loved stories since I was a little girl. Whether it be on the silver screen, the tv, or in book... I was always searching for my next adventure. As I grew older, my love for these things became something that was seen as weird or silly, but I never turned away from my love of stories. In 2018, I discovered my love for empowering young people when I began to work for the YMCA as a camp counselor. I continued to work with kids of all ages until 2022. After finishing school, I knew my dream was to create a space where both children and adults could be inspired to remember the magic of their youth, as well as creating a space for performers of all abilities and sizes. Thus, Once Upon a Fairytale or "The Castle" as I like to call it.
