Paveys Country Store opened in 2023 . Paveys is a chain popular in eastern central Indiana. This store is fully stocked with groceries, has fresh meats (some local), fresh produce and a deli counter. They have a fried foods counter with chicken, tenderloins, potato wedges and fried mushrooms. People were lined up. They have a little counter in the front of the store where you can eat. I had a fried chicken breast and their deli coleslaw. The breading on the chicken was crispy and fabulous. The meat was a little dry and the coleslaw tasted like run of the mill grocery coleslaw. My husband had the breaded tenderloin, which was phenomenal. The breading was seasoned well and the pork, while thick, was tender and juicy. The $7 sandwich included two large tenderloins with all the fixings. The large bun didn't hold up, but they rarely do on a good tenderloin. It was a 5 star tenderloin. We also picked up some locally made hotdogs. The grocery offers a lot of locally made products, including deer summer sausage. Prices are great, not what you'd expect from a convenience store. Service was a bit indifferent. There was no engaging conversation or smile. But it was late on the day. The store is immaculate inside. There's plenty of close parking and the structure is accessible. You can pick up lottery tickets and there's an ATM in the store.

And like some places in New Castle they do offer deals on drinks if you purchase energy drinks or soft drinks so you get good value for what your purchasing. As for the owners Eddie is amazing I cannot tell you enough how much I appreciate that he does not talk through a Bluetooth while you ask questions. He is a great salesman and if he don't have something you need by the next time you go in there he will have it available. They are open 24 hours and when I say you won't regret passing by a couple other stations to get there I mean that. I mean you get great deals, awesome customer service, choices upon choices of things to buy and did I mention great customer service. This Speedway may not have fast food establishments connected to it but it does have a restaurant and a Burger King 150 feet in front of you. GREAT for trucks. Parking lot needs to be redone, full of pot holes, staff is very friendly and helpful. Lines take a while to get through, it lacks healthy options. Cigarettes and everything else is much cheaper than the Loves. Both places are definitely great choices but I would choose this Speedway any day.

It was lunchtime so we dined at Subway, gassed up, used the restrooms and headed on. The Love's was a little smaller than some others but was well stocked. The ladies room was clean; the men's room wasn't bad but needed some love.

Worst service and communication skills. Went for an oil change and shocks replaced and they said 45…read moremin. Took 2 hours to get in they did the oil change and was told after 2 more hrs the mechanic for the shocks was 15 min away. Why wouldn't they have said something sooner? Then 2 more hrs later they knew I was getting annoyed and still no mechanic. Evidently they are only certified to do oil filters, oil changes, and tires. Total time there and wasted was 6 hours. Tried charging me for labor that wasn't even done and when I said something they still charged me 1100 dollars. I finally bought the shocks and replaced them myself in the parking lot. What a joke!!! HORRIBLE!!!! DO NOT GO THERE FOR SERVICE ON YOUR TRUCK!! They don't understand that time and loads are money to us drivers and don't respect our profession. Missed my delivery time and worst yet they started talking crap about me being irate because they have no idea how much they cost me today! I'll never stop there again!!!!
