July 2019 Lacey Webster does the best job grooming my Poodle. It's a busy shop and I don't know if she's taking new clients. If she is I would recommend her without hesitation. Her prices are low and the quality of her work is consistent. She used to own Fur Babies and then sold that shop to have two beautiful babies. I'm so grateful she's back. We have a Springer spaniel that has had major issues with getting groomed. Lacy has cut her toenails a couple of times and my dog was good for her so I made an appointment for grooming. Wow, she did a great job and had no issues with my dog. She said not one growl came from her. It is so nice to a such a friendly person and place to take her for grooming when we are in town for the summer. My dog looks amazing and is happy to get the extra coat off. read more

I recently relocated to Brookings and was in need of a groomer for my beloved Afghan Hound. I got a recommendation to see Lacy, and in I went for an appointment! Lacy is a lovely, truly kind person. Turns out she had shown Afghan Hounds, and even knew my handler when I showed one of my past dogs. Small world! I was in heaven when I heard of her unique expertise for my breed. Although she grooms every breed imaginable, she had my Zoie looking like a beautiful princess! Now, my dog, formerly terrified of groomers, runs right up to Lacy's door, and goes right into "her" crate! Lacy loves Zoie, and Zoie and I love her! Do not hesitate to book with Lacy. We have been taking Mocha our ShitZu to her since she bought the business from Dawn a few years ago. Your Furry friend couldn't be in better hands. Stacy does a great job @ a fair price. We were down at the beach for 4 days this month for a little R&R. Our dogs had never seen the beach b4 so we took them on the beach. They were having trouble with walking in the sand. When I looked at their little paws I realized that their nails really needed clipping. So the search started. I went to every groomer in Brookings and the vet. The only one that would even look at them was the vet They wanted to charge us 27.00 for the nail clip. We were out of choices so we went to the Grocery Outlet for a few things, were a lady had told us about One Cool Dog. She said they will do it. So we asked where it was and sure enough the lady (Gina) said sure come on in. Not only did she cut and smoothed their nails she also shaved the extra hair off the paws as well. Charged us 10 bucks and we were out of there in less than20 min. Needless to say her tip was the same as the cost of the work she did. She cared for our two girls as if they were her own. I have never seen such dedication at a groomer b4. If I lived there she would see me all the time. One cool dog is an amazing shop, with and even more amazing owner, that has chosen to serve our little community and their pets, and to the owner don't let a few bad apples upset the apple cart I see the couple of reviews that are all from the same family some people just can't take failure, it's a feeble attempt by spiteful person , that could not handle the job the right to free speech goes both ways, you are an amazing groomer and my dogs love you Keep up the good work you are awesome !
