I was on a mission the day I went to One Day at a Time.
I wanted to shop, get in and out, as fast as possible. Sometimes I really hate getting bothered by the staff waiting at the door but here there was just a young guy doing his homework behind the check out. I had a browse and within a minute we started to chat about university life. Then we chatted about home life. Then we chatted about life. It was one of the more bizarre moments I've been involved in and got stranger when other customers began to solve the world's biggest problems with us. It was kind of amazing actually and it was funny, maybe fate, that during my chat/browse, I found a great pair of pants.
So not only did I walk away content with solving the world's issues, but I scored a really good pair of pants! Couldn't be happier! If you go in there and there's a young guy busy at work then don't be afraid to chat because he is very entertaining and was still helpful and now I just go in to say hi. Afterwards I also found out it's a local designer who makes the clothing so I felt even better supporting the local fashion industry. read more
