I love apple cider donuts, but Wisconsin is known for its cherries. I was not a fan of the cherry donut sample I tried. I did end up getting some coffee, jelly, and dried cherries to take home. They have lots of home decor items and cherry donuts that are deep-fried into chips, which I did not try. You can also get a cup of coffee, and they have lots of pie and baked goods. Prices were pretty typical for these types of stands. $3 for small items and $10 for larger canned items

The sandwich and soup were the standouts. The curds were fresh and squeaky. We finished with their ice cream, which held up to everything else we'd eaten. The prices were low enough that the whole stop felt like a steal. A must-visit when you're in Sturgeon Bay.

I had a sample and was delightfully pleased with the balance between sweetness and tartness. FYI: they charge $5.00 for wine tasting. Next time in the area, I plan to get the strawberry rhubarb wine.
