Hi, my name is Melanie Moore and I'm from Michigan. We spent the last week in Door County at "The Rushes" across the street from your farm in Bailey's harbor. We learned that we missed Monday visiting the farm and would have to wait until Thursday as you are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday and we check out on Friday. Thursday morning we went to your store and bought 2 Ribeye steaks to cook on the grill for dinner while we packed and got ready to depart on Friday. We were really excited to try them after seeing your business advertised all over the county. Unfortunately our excitement turned to disappointment. Our steaks were not of the quality we were expecting. They were tough and somewhat dry. The sweet potato was very good but that was not enough to justify the $55 we spent on 2 steaks and a sweet potato. My husband also ran back in and grabbed a $12.95 rub for the steaks. Came here for some breakfast ingredients to cook at our vrbo. The farm is so cute with goats you can feed, roosters, a cat, and a farm. They also have a port a potty you can use. They had plenty of grass fed meat, milk, colorful eggs, produce, and local jam. The food was all delicious and not badly priced at all. read more

Don't expect low prices, but fair prices for organic food products, some dry goods, a massive selection of meats and veggies- all of the supplies you need for an excellent week of meals. Very knowledgeable team and a great farm tour experience, especially for our two year old grand daughter

I was broken hearted when their local store closed but I love visiting the farm. The garden is stunning, I have learned so much from talking to their gardener and just seeing how they plant. On this visit we walked the trail to see the cross and the pasture full of their beautiful cows. We also saw the huge pasture with the happiest chickens free ranging around the moveable coops. No trip is complete without going into the store and stocking up on high quality, humanly raised meat. I live talking to everyone there because they are so friendly and passionate about what they do. Exactly what we were looking for - fresh produce and a large variety of meat. Disappointed that we didn't have a large cooler with us to bring back more treats. Purchased an onion/garlic bag, bone treats and liver treats for the dogs a squash and ham sticks. All local and fresh. The collard greens looked great - the biggest we've ever seen! Walked through the garden and met baby cows 760 & 761. Big cows came to the fence... very friendly. We hope to visit here again - and will be prepared with a big cooler or two. read more

Great selection of organic meats, as well as organic milk, butter, etc. We were there in late November, and they had squashes and potatoes, but at other times of the year they have a wider selection of fresh produce. came up to door county in june and uncovered this little gem of a butcher shop. i highly recommend their smoked beef strips (beef jerky), their beef sticks, and their steaks. when i return to the door in the fall, i am bringing an empty cooler to fill with quality meat treats from this wonderful butcher shop. read more

FANTASTIC. Just awesome. We spent some time on the farm with our children and spent some time in the store stocking up on quality organic meats. I'm SO happy with our purchases and so excited to find recipes to use everything we bought. Happy to know where the meat came from and to see the care they take to keep a clean environment. I was so happy to hear the clerk (I never got her name!) say they welcome people to walk around the farm. The next time we head to Door County we are definitely stopping again.
