Farm store meat and produce
Eric N.

Such a cool little farm with a very large selection of products. Don't expect low prices, but fair prices for organic food products, some dry goods, a massive selection of meats and veggies- all of the supplies you need for an excellent week of meals. Don't forget to bring the kids to the small playground and friendly animals!

Pasture of the Holy Cows

I was broken hearted when their local store closed but I love visiting the farm. The garden is stunning, I have learned so much from talking to their gardener and just seeing how they plant. On this visit we walked the trail to see the cross and the pasture full of their beautiful cows. We also saw the huge pasture with the happiest chickens free ranging around the moveable coops. No trip is complete without going into the store and stocking up on high quality, humanly raised meat. I live talking to everyone there because they are so friendly and passionate about what they do. Another regular stop on my Door County excursions!

Wonderful market for organic meats and produce and Wisconsin products. Friendly people and they let you walk around the farm.

I visited the Florian II on a Saturday night while in Door County, and it was a weird experience…read more I'm glad I tried it, but I don't think I'll return. They don't accept reservations, so we showed up expecting to wait. The hostess told us we'd wait about 20 minutes. We were happy to grab a seat in the bar and ordered a round of old fashioneds. The drinks were great and strong! They had live music, which was initially fun. However, our 20-minute wait quickly turned into more than an hour, and our ears were getting very tired. It was so loud! The restaurant put out a table with snacks for bar patrons that was right in the walkway to the hostess stand. After watching people help themselves by grabbing directly from the bowls, we opted to avoid the germs. The crowd was an interesting mix of people who were dressed up and people who were dressed very... casually. The atmosphere was strange and surreal. When we finally got to our table, we barely saw our waiter. He was definitely flustered from the busy evening (which is totally understandable!), but it took about 20 minutes for him to greet us and get our drink order. He seemed shocked that we wanted to order. After waiting over an hour for a table and 20 minutes to order drinks, we were starting to worry we wouldn't get our food order in before the restaurant closed. We could still hear the loud music at our table and were almost ready to call the evening a loss. On a positive note, the other staff members were very friendly, especially the ones clearing tables. The food itself was good. The whole group liked what they ordered (steak, perch, and walleye), but we all agreed it wasn't worth the price.

One of the few remaining Door County supper clubs unfortunately, but entering the Florian will take…read moreyou back in time with their mile-long bar, traditional supper club menu, and good food.
