If you are spending a day in Ephesus and want to use as much of your precious time shopping at a leather and fur store on the side of a highway as you spend walking through the ruins of Ephesus than this is the trip for you. Nowhere on page of highlights does it include this item, yet this is about as long as the most important highlight and much longer than all the others. I emailed the company wondering about this and they said it is "clearly" on the main page although it is a small bullet on the additional information page that only says "shopping is included in the trip". Why not put this in the highlights? This is very deceptive in my opinion. Not only that, but our tour guide tried shipping us off on a shuttle 3 hours before our departing flight. We had to beg to get a later flight so we wouldn't be sitting at the airport for over 3 hours. When you're spending 235 Euros and have travelled across the world to see Ephesus you don't want to spend an hour in a leather and fur shop and 2 plus hours sitting at the airport. Also, the site says 15 hours for the tour which is completely false. You actually get about 3 - 4 hours of guided tour. All the transportation itself was seamless which is why I give this 2 stars rather than 1, but if the tour itself isn't good then it doesn't matter too much if it is efficient getting you there. read more

We booked with OneNation Travel and chose their 2 days 1 night Capadoccia from Istanbul by plane without hotel. We booked our own hotel in Goreme, Sultan cave suites (best decision). Going to capadoccia in January is a risk, since there might be blizzard and hot air ballon rides may be cancelled for 2 weeks straight. We got lucky we werw able to see some balloons for one of the days we were there. The tour started with a taxi picking us up from our istanbul hotel to Sabiha airport ( about 45 mins to an 1 hour). Then, we were picked from the kayseri airport by a van to drop us to our hotel. Then another van picked us up from our Goreme hotel to start tour. We saw fairy chimneys, lookout point to see balloons, pigeon valley. Next day, we saw underground city, uchisar castle, and hiked up to see nice views. 2 lunch buffet included, of course the food was not great but it is free so I cant complain. Our tour guide was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, always explaining about each site. The only problem Ive had was the stops to the factories- onyx, ceramics, carpet. Their prices were high but at least they dont pressure you into buying. Another thing, going back to Istanbul there will be a lot of hotel pickup before going to the airport, leaving only 1 hour to check in. Good thing the airport is small, with only 2 gates, so you really only need that much time. Overall experience was good. read more

Hi Mr. Dilsiz Where do I begin - I had such a bad experience with my Ephesus trip on Aug 4. I assumed Onenationtravel was in charge of my entire trip but little did I know that all you do is subcontract the entire trip with multiple subcontractors and you have no control over quality. Never again shall I travel with you or give your business to any friends or family in USA. Let me Briefly tell you my problems. 1. Each time I called your office to confirm my trip pickup/drop off details your agent said check your itinerary and look at what is written. I expect you to check my booking record online and confirm but that was too much customer service to expect I guess. The problem was the itinerary and the eticket mixed up the the airports and that made me wary of your lack of attention to details. 2. Pickup driver arrived and was about to take us to the wrong airport. Had I not bothered to check with him and trusted him we would have landed at the wrong airport yesterday. We wasted time calling your office and arguing over it. Pathetic! 3. Airport transfers are a nightmare - shuttle drops us off at point A and says I don't know what happens next. A taxi picks us up and drops us at Point B and says wait here for your tour but I don't know anything else or I don't have any more information - really? You have been organizing these tours for a long time and none of your agents know what to tell passengers and passengers are not told what to expect during the trip? 4. Your tour left without us and no one bothered to inform us that this was happening - cannot imagine how many times we had to call your office to figure out what is going on - which tour is picking us up - all the response we got was wait 5 minutes, wait 10 minutes, they are coming but really you have no sense of time!!!! 5. On this tour the guide was not even a good one but I am willing to overlook this - she rambled on with limited information and it was very uninteresting to say the least - I ended up buying a guide book at the store to understand Ephesus better. 6. Your tour pretty much ends after lunch - then it is shopping time - and it is such a waste of time - my tour did not include Greek Village but someone else's itinerary did and we wasted more time doing what was not necessary for us. I think my itinerary included St John Basilica but the guide said we don't physically visit there so I had to go with what she said. 7. The problem is the actual tour comprised of multiple tour companies that give their business to them so there is no fixed itinerary - beware of this - so you basically do whatever they tell you to do because they have to satisfy multiple itineraries. Really Mr. Bilal, you did not mention this on your web site when you took my money or when you confirmed my itinerary. 8. Return drop off was a nightmare and the worst I ever experienced in all my life. The driver never showed up and there was no one holding my name outside airport. After multiple calls and being asked to wait here and there for 30 minutes, a guy comes looking for us but he still does not have my name on the card and there is more confusion about that and more phone calls going back and forth. 9. We sort that out and waste 10 extra minutes as we wait for the bus. The bus leaves and 10 minutes later the driver gets a call, turns around and goes back to airport to pick more people - we quietly wait as we are tired and have exhausted children in the bus. We pick up more people and then he starts going to different hotels for more pick up or drop off. At this point it is 10 pm - one hour after our promised pick up time and we are still going around in circles with no information about what the driver's plan is. Finally we are dropped off to my hotel at 10.30. Really Mr. Bilal, if this was the plan and your agent had the courtesy to tell me so upfront I would have taken a taxi to get to my hotel although I paid you upfront for hotel drop off. I assumed like all other trips that I would be picked up at correct time and dropped off accordingly but did not expect we would go around in circles so you can consolidate all passengers into one car and multiply your profits. You harassed me, wasted my time, your agents pretend to understand no English and cannot convey anything from your office in writing or verbally - cannot answer any questions - all I do all day is call your office and they say - you check your itinerary, you wait, go here, go there - and no clarity about what is to be expected but confusion and uncertainty. All tour companies generally have similar itineraries - the cost fluctuates slightly from company to company. It was my biggest mistake I trusted Onenationtravel to seamlessly organize such a big trip that cost me over $1300 - all I received was unprofessional behavior, poor business ethics and harassment - and given the rude transport operators you work with, I chose not to enter into any arguments with them as I was traveling with kids read more
