There are many reasons to revisit this mall. Also included is Flemmings, a nice higher-end steak house is included and I would recommend them to anyone in town or visiting. I like stores like the Learning Express that bring in mascots of popular shows that bring kids out. The new wellness spa Valo is really well liked, and their bridal store is beautiful. Most recently I came to Regency for a pop up boutique shopping event, and then for a Yelp Blow-out event. It seems there is a lot more to come, like other mini-pop up vendors, dining, and newer stores. If you don't like the crowds of Westroads, this might be the place for you!

They've cycled through a few food vendors and projects, and I'm hoping it helps bring some real traffic through again. I think JCP and the sewing shop may be the strongest parts right now and, of course, Sarku Japan is still out here thriving. Overall, I'm hopeful for Oakview, you can see the effort, but it'll be tough to find its footing with Village Pointe, not far away, and the Westroads trending in the right direction.

They've managed to stay with the times, though their facade is very dated (but in a Stars Hollow way) with stores like the simple man, and made in omaha, to inkwell, mootz pizza, and timberwood bistro, there is a lot happening on any given day. Theres a lot stores that offer a variety of services and it's centrally located right off of 84th and pacific. There is also ample parking in their lots, and I am happy to see it continue to be a main stay.

Since the Bookworm relocated, I don't come here that often aside from trips to Le Quartier Bakery but there are many cute shops, restaurants and businesses here. The parking lot usually seems pretty full but it's possible some of that is overflow parking from Westside High School across the street when they have events. Pretty easy to get in and out and park close to your desired location. Their website said it was built in 1953 and was on the edge of town at that time. I was able to find all local products without hopping from store to store including honey, candles, baker's chocolate candies, magnets, t-shirts, and so many other amazing Nebraska-made items. The shop itself is adorable and welcoming, and it feels really good knowing that every purchase supports local makers and businesses. The prior commercial property management didn't address the panhandlers in the area to control…read moretheir loitering. The panhandlers had once loitered inside the marsh, leaving massive piles of trash, and unopened cans of food and other food and beverage items, all unopened. One man tried to clean up the mess by himself, and he was overwhelmed by the large amount of trash, which included disposed panhandling signs. The previous management ended up having to bring in a large pink hauling dumpster and it was filled past overflowing with the panhandlers' garbage. The panhandlers have since moved across the street to the other berm, and they have begun to leave behind trash and disposed panhandling signs behind the berm, and down by the drain. Sometimes the panhandlers leave personal trash on the berm just under the trees, in full view of passing traffic. I know the current commercial management, Lee and Associates have gotten calls to put up no loitering signs on the opposite berm and in the area close by the drain. They have yet to do anything to help curb the large amount of trash the panhandlers leave behind.
