Dr. Laney was making rounds that day and came into our room and immediately made us feel at ease. He was so kind to us and answered all of our first time parent questions. After his visit we had a phone call in our hospital room to schedule our first appointment which I was also very impressed with because you are so busy that first week with a new baby. Since our daughters birth 5 months ago we have been back for all of her checkups and I have been beyond satisfied with the staff and other doctors. They truly care about the patients and the parents and are very accommodating. I had many personal phone calls from Dr. Lynch with some issues with my daughter and she was so positive and helpful. I would recommend this office to anyone.

Needed an unexpected appointment today but wasn't sure if same day was needed so called the advice line, & they said to come in today and gave us a time. Upon arrival, each parking spot is numbered and has a sign saying to text patient name, DOB, and parking spot #. Masks to be worn, temp check before entry. We arrived a bit early & only had a very short wait for my teen to go in to be seen. I appreciate nearly always being able to get in when needed in a prompt time frame. If you can't trust your family Pediatricians to carefully follow Covid prevention protocols, who can you trust? I'm glad we can trust this practice.

They need to take "Adolescent" out of their name. We chose this practice in 2007 when we relocated…read moreback to KY with our two young kids. Now that they are older and should be able to consult their primary care physician on uncomfortable questions they don't want to ask their parents, we find they can't. We were told to "pick a gynecologist" if we were interested in contraception to control period symptoms. Reproductive care IS healthcare, and PAA is not only abdicating this responsibility but putting a barrier between patients and this care by requiring them to go to a specialist that their parents may not have time or money to visit. It makes patients feel like this part of their health and body is "other" and requires special effort and extra money. It's BS. This is especially surprising given PAA's stance on the HPV vaccine (see another user's review here). It's kind of understandable if they do not have the bandwidth for this, but they need to say so up front and start referring kids away from their practice at puberty. It's hard enough being born female in this world; we should ALL be able to depend on our primary care physicians to look out for ALL areas of our health and provide basic support and care before referral to a specialist. I have previous experience in another state where the doctor was all over this--asked all the hard questions and was clearly looking out for my step-daughter's care, head to toe. The only reason that this review is three stars and not one is that we HAVE gotten great care here, so if you have a boy, go for it. Sharon Menkus is particularly good, and we will miss her. She's so genuinely knowledgeable and supportive that I was really puzzled and disappointed by the wall we got when asking about reproductive care.

They were able to get my daughter in on short notice after she took a hard fall and hit her head (she's a toddler). It was the worst fall she's had and they got her in and x-rayed within an hour! 1 star docked because I have had to wait a couple times in the patient rooms for a long time (15-20 minutes once). Also, I feel like the two doctors I've seen so far at this practice know far, far less about allergies than I do. I have allergies myself; it's a lifelong educational process. My daughter has multiple food allergies. We are seeing a different doctor next week at PAA. The receptionists are totally fine with you asking to see a different doctor, which I like. It's nice that there is a variety of people you can choose for your child's pediatrician.
