I called Comet and was told they use only organic cleaning methods and add no scent. She suggested the perfume smell was in the jacket prior to cleaning -- rude approach. DEFINITELY NO PERFUME SCENT WAS IN THE JACKET since I am highly allergic to perfumes and scents. She said she would review with manager then decide what to do and call me back -- I received no call. BEWARE OF SCENT SIMILAR TO HIGHLY PERFUMED DRYER SHEETS! The jacket is hanging in the garage and bit of the scent has dissipated but still unwearable. Most likely the jacket will require recleaning before wearing.
