I chose to have a repair instead of a full door replacement. He was able to take my car in immediately and said he would have it done in 5 days. My car was done when he said it would be. You know you're in for a ride. Prior to owner coming out, seasoned employee inspects and says "bumper is in good shape and can be repaired" but once then owner comes out , "yeah this is a full bumper replacement" Once again, I know what my car needs done and I'm just looking for an honest shop. He pushes hard to order the bumper himself. Quoted the bumper $900 (way overpriced) , the bumper is easily found online and painted for $600 (OEM) To keep this short , the bumper is 100% repairable. Hate to sound like Tony the Tiger but these guys are GRRRR GREAT! Caught my Honda Fit front bumper on a parking stop and ripped it 80% off. Zip ties worked for a while until I ripped it right off. The headlights were in bad shape with lots of stress cracks and discolored. The hood paint had so many rock chips it looked polka dot. The Clearwater paint was peeling on both fenders. My car was a total mess. I trusted a guy that offering to paint the hood for $250. BAD DECISION! That $250. bought a can of white spray paint and lots of white over spray covering everything else. My car was looking pretty sad. It was time to get this fixed so I read a lot of reviews and got 3 estimates. There was just something special about Khalid and his son at One Stop Auto. He was my man! I brought my X3 Bmw SUV to Khalid (owner) for a dent damage to the rear passenger door. One Stop Auto and 3 other shops gave me similar insurance quotes and turnaround time, of ~2 weeks. My initial impressions of Khalid were positive and his shop was just down the street from me so I thought it would be the obvious choice. Although at first, Khalid was transparent about what was going on in the repair process, his communication became redundant. Weeks would go by and I would have no idea why there was a delay. If I'd call him on the phone, all I was met with "sorry it's taking so long." I tried not to bother him or be too demanding between our interactions. My only request would that any paintwork would need to be quality.** Moving forward a month later. Every time that I'd drive by, my car would be in the same repair stage that Khalid referred to...the last time we spoke. For example, the vehicle would sit for weeks without the doors which tells me it took weeks for him to actually assemble and paint. This is when I realized he uses other third-party businesses for paint, glass installation, etc.,. Towards the end of April (almost 2 months out) when I finally got my car back, I noticed some issues: -paintwork to the doors with dust/bubbles/contaminants under the clear coat -rocker panel and rear passenger door misalignment -gap in one of the taillights that were reassembled Obviously the paint was disappointing, but I took the loss and decided to take care of it with someone who will do it right. I drove back to Khalid and asked him to fix the latter issues. He told me that I needed an appointment and that he'll "keep me in mind". After several days with no call I decided to call him myself to see if I can come in the next day. This is where it gets interesting. Instead of addressing the issue, Khalid gets UPSET because I had promised to leave a Review. I had told him before that I would do so after everything is done and complete. At that point I lost my cool and decided to not bring my vehicle back the next day. Unbelievable. Lesson learned. Do not take your vehicle here if you value your time and want to be treated like a customer. In addition to racking up rental car fees, I am now left with having to fix the poor quality work that Khalid and his shop did. Update: Owner is dishonest in his response as expected. There were no police report, fraud, or structural damage as he so blatantly claims. Khalid and I had a mutual agreement to take -$200 off the $1000 of my deductible; he only got mad after the fact of me not leaving him a review. After he discovered the missing review, this man tried to manipulate me by asking for the $200 in order to fix his mistakes. I refused to come back because I didn't want him messing with my car. I recently got some damage on the hood of my 2015 Landrover LR4 during the heavy rain storms and wanted to get it fixed. I went to a couple places and they said that I should claim it with my insurance which meant that they were going to charge an arm and a leg/redo everything for absolutely no reason replacing with cheap aftermarket parts/poor quality paint. Not to mention, increase my premium to a certain degree. I came to One Stop Auto and talked to the owner. He suggested that I keep the original OEM paint and parts and that he would do his best to fix the damage to his ability. He made the most sense so I went with him.
