VERY NOISY TRAINS, AND AIR CONDITIONERS, CAN'T OPEN windows cuz of noise! Manager is two faced,…read morerude and an outright liar! Owners don't give a crap about property or tenants. Dumpster ALWAYS SMELLS UP THE WHOLE NEIGHBORHOOD. Everything is old n dirty, windows are so bad, you will see incredibly high bills, everything is electric (National grid, heat, hot water, cooking, AC, expensive!!

I read all sorts of negative reviews about this place on apartment review sites before I moved in,…read moreso I must say I was apprehensive when making the decision as to whether or not to live here. My life has improved just from living in this building!! Central heat and A.C., Dishwasher, Tons of parking.... there are even washing machines and dryers IN THE APARTMENTS!!! (I hate the laundrymat, so this part was the big selling point for me) I read reviews where people complained of noise, I NEVER hear my neighbors! I read reviews where people said the management and maintanence folks can be "mean", "rude", or "intimidating"....Completely untrue!!! Whenever I call the office about a problem, whoever answers the phone (usually Lisa I believe) is extremely kind, and whatever the problem is, it's taken care of in a day or 2 (sometimes within a few hours). Mike the maintenece guy is really nice too, when our washing machine overflowed, he came and took care of the problem immediately, and when our floors dried a day or two later, he put the carpets back down, and set up all the furniture exactly the way it was before the overflow (right down to the smallest detail) We have a few neighbors who are too lazy to bring their trash to the dumpsters and let it pile up in the bottom floor stairwells and a few more neighbors who park like idiots, but neither of those problems are building managements fault. If you want a nice, affordable apartment in a building with a friendly staff, a lot of parking spots and a ton of amenities, this is the place!

DO NOT MOVE INTO THE LODGE AT FOXBOROUGH - Health Hazard, Zero Accountability, Ongoing Infestation…read more My partner and I moved into The Lodge at Foxborough in July 2023, and what was supposed to be our peaceful home turned into an absolute nightmare. At a time I adored this place, we have been good tenants, clean, and have always abided by the rules and regulations. However, since September 2024, we've been battling a severe cockroach infestation that has taken over our apartment and disrupted every part of our lives. We first reported the infestation on September 20, 2024, and since then we've had five exterminator visits. Not only has the problem not been solved, but I've been told directly by exterminators that other units in the building are also being treated--which clearly points to a building-wide issue. This is not an isolated case. This is a sign of systemic neglect. Despite this, management has done the bare minimum: No offer of temporary housing No rent compensation No relocation to another unit No accountability for the trauma and stress caused We were left to live in filth, treated like test subjects while they experimented with "follow-up visits" to "see if treatments are working." That's not a solution--that's an insult. My partner and I are not a science experiment. We're paying tenants (approximatly $2,660 a month, not including utlities) who were promised a habitable, safe home. This infestation has wrecked our lives: I've missed work and class to accommodate the exterminator's schedule We've been forced to live out of boxes, unable to use our kitchen or bathroom freely My cat's safety has been a constant concern during treatments We've experienced social withdrawal, heightened anxiety, panic, and severe emotional stress. My relationship has suffered. Our home has not felt like a safe space in months I've spent my own money on traps, poisons, and patchwork for holes left in the kitchen that allow pests through plumbing and unfinished work And worst of all? We had to escalate the issue to the Board of Health, who formally investigated the property on March 11, 2025. Only after that did management finally switch pest control companies. But it was too little, too late. Even after months of suffering, with the infestation still ongoing, they have refused to let us out of our lease. They are prioritizing contract enforcement over basic human dignity and legal habitability standards. We are literally only asking to break our lease 3-4 months early once housing is secured, without penalty and our security deposit back. I have documented this experience thoroughly with photos and videos, and I will be posting them across Google, Yelp, Facebook, Reddit, and any platform I can find. People need to know the truth about this place. I am posting this review to warn future renters and hold The Lodge at Foxborough and UDR accountable. No one should be forced to live in these conditions and be met with indifference and excuses. Shame on this property for their negligence, for putting our health at risk, and for treating their tenants like they're disposable.

Absolutely beautiful loft apartments, Huge, clean and you can easily fall in love with them. From…read morethe HUGE windows, to the exposed brick.... what is not to love? We quickly put in our application and $500 deposit. Upon returning home I decided to do a bit of research to see what others had to say, or read about what past tenants thought... What we found was mortifying, from issues with trash, to the employees running the place, to noise issues and written warnings, to the issues with parking and safety and the amount of cars that are jacked up on cinder blocks, to the issues with owing more at the end even after they eat your entire deposit up.... We sadly could not move forward with the lease and decided that it was best to forfeit the $500 than to sign ourselves up for a year or more of misery. I am sure there are some happy tenants out there but the amount of unhappy paints a clear picture for me. Loft living is not for me and I am thankful to have gone thru this process to learn that.

100% would avoid this place. When we moved in, there were numerous damages we reported them as…read morepre-existing. Charged us 1,600 dollars upon move out with a threat to take us to collections if not paid in 30 days -- that portion was highlighted for our benefit. Mind you we always paid our bills on time and complained about nothing. There is nothing exceptional about this place. They are charging people upon move out to upgrade things in their units. That is the only reason I could think of it. They will send you numerous, somewhat incoherent pictures to support their claims. AVOID. Also, they regularly remove reviews from Google. So, just ask yourself the question why that is true?
