All of them were basically comparable on price, although Foothills was slightly higher and did not include tax in their estimate. Two of the businesses offered to come out the same day (I called about noon). One of those was Foothills. They came highly recommended from various Facebook sites. So, even though they were a little higher we decided to go with them. The estimated time for service was between 1:30 and 2:30. That worked out perfectly because I had an event later in the evening. By 3:30, however, I still did not have anybody there and I had not received a phone call. I called them back to check on the service. The man who answered the phone (Steve?) was the same one who took my call earlier to set up the appointment. He put me on hold for a moment and then told me he would send someone out right away. I never received any more explanation than that. The repairman (Pete) arrived very quickly, by 4pm. He said that Steve had never told him abiut the appointment, even though the original call was only 3 hours earlier. I never received any further explanation. He said the repair would take about 30 minutes. He was very good and quick, and even discovered that we had a cable that was badly frayed and needed to be replaced. The final cost was pretty close to the original quote with the exception of an additional $20 or so for the cable. Like I said, that was still a little higher than other companies. The warranty is supposedly 5 years, although he said the springs should last 8-10. However, the warranty will only cover the part that breaks. Since I have 2 springs, and they replace both when one is broken, I would still have to pay for the other spring and the labor. Each spring costs $45. So, the warranty only covers that cost. I would still be on the hook for more than $100 under their warranty. Overall, I was impressed with the relatively fast response time and the repair. Hopefully, I won't need to use the warranty. I was not impressed with the lack of communication regarding my original appointment. I should have been called if there was a delay. And I should have received an apology and an explanation. That poor communication gives the impression that they may not value the customer's time.

Well we got what we wanted but the price went up and then we started to notice the imperfections here and there. Then one night we heard a crash and glass shattering. Turns out the the new shelves that where being held in with pins came loose from the wall and all my family picture frames broke, and I lost a blue glass candy dish that we inherited from my husbands grandmother. I was angry, and heartbroken!! At that moment we where done. So I reached out to Jeremy again, and told him the situation. Jeremy came to our home and gave us another bid. However this time it was to repair the multiple issues we had with the media wall, as well as some other home improvements like, a new side garage door installed, master bathroom door reversed entry, drywall repair, moulding repair, paint, and building NEW THICKER SHELVES !!! To say we absolutely love our media wall is an understatement !! We can not thank Jeremy enough!! and we plan to see him again for phase 2 of renovations. Actually make that for anything we will need in the future!! I highly recommend Jeremy and his crew because they do excellent work. In fact when our son came over, and saw all of the work Jeremy and his crew did, and the quality they put into their work, he decided to have Jeremy do his home repairs as well. Thank you Jeremy !!!

So I finally texted him to just take a look at it. (He likes to text)We scheduled a 7AM appt and when he had a look, he said he was glad we didn't go for a new one. This one will probably last another two decades. All it needed was four new screws to replace the two that the installers put in, and a minor spring adjustment. All for the price of a few drinks and a dinner for two. Oh, and don't fall for the You Tubers that say they can replace a door panel, unless you just moved in and had to crunch a new door in the process.

First, he was available on a HOLIDAY! Responded promptly & professionally. Super convenient as I had the day off & another home consultation scheduled for later in the afternoon. I had a small handful of tasks needing help/attention. He was prompt to respond & offered his rates/terms up front, no hassle & extremely easy to schedule with. While I did have materials on hand, he suggested they wouldn't be as sufficient in the long term, so I genuinely appreciated he came to inspect & then went to purchase any additional materials based on the consultation. ...and from there, I let him do his art! The job did take a bit longer than anticipated, but that was due to the beast of pantry cabinet assembly. I am SO happy with the services & I feel like the hourly rate/pricing is definitely on par for the quality & expertise provided. And, he took diligence to haul any scraps/waste out to the dumpster- leaving literally no trace behind. It was very convenient paying via Zelle transfer. Cash is also accepted, cards have a 3% fee.
