Normally great but recently I've called twice to cancel the recycling and got no one the first time, 2nd time they said they would but did not cancel the service. They don't even send a truck through on Friday's anymore for the recycling, so I suspect he just throws it all in the trash on Tuesday's. Good service even in bad weather. Quite reasonable fees and courteous on the phone and in person.

We've used this company for over 20 years. They do pick up in the very early morning hours at times, but so much better than other companies that don't pick up on the day. They have always gotten back with me. Clean pick up and exchanged a trashcan when the wheel broke very quickly. Good company! read more

They pick up at 4:30 am, this is a problem. The county noise ordinance states 6:30 am is the earliest.

I just ended my service with Oneal Sanitation after multiple instances of not having my service picked up for weeks in a row. The first time that I called, I was informed that my neighbor had canceled and that I had somehow gotten dropped off the route. They apologized and told me that my pickup had changed to Friday (put out by Thursday night) During my call this evening, after leaving a message, I was told by the manager that my original terms of service and the change in pickup date provided to me were wrong (That I hadn't had service on a Friday, with put out time Thursday afternoon in 7 months) and that it was my fault for not putting my trash out on time. Their own employee told me the wrong pickup times and when I informed them of this, they asked if I wanted them to just fire him? No. I wanted the company to take ownership of their failure to fulfill a month of my contracted service. When I asked about a partial refund, I was told no one would do that and again, that it was my fault that I didn't put the trash out on time. The call ended with, as far as I'm aware, the driver for my route aggressively swearing at me and calling me names before hanging up. They informed me that they knew all of the lies and BS I was about to make up and to go ahead and post it. I have never had service for a company I contracted this poor ever. Tried to call repeatedly and left several messages including my name, cell phone and email. Never received a call back. When I called the number there were only 3 options. I finally had Tom answer when I selected the option to "add service" - apparently the only calls they accept. Explained that their pick up schedule of Tuesday morning and then early Thursday afternoon was not communicated and did not amount to twice weekly pick ups as we had paid for since November of 2005. That is how long we have been a customer. I told him that according to the billing we were paid up through November of 2022 and setting up service with a new provider. They continue to mail and leave bills on the trash cans that have been on the street for weeks awaiting pick up. A "1" rating is too high for this horrible company. read more

We have never had issues with Oneal Sanitation in the 24 years in residence. We appreciate every pickup, regardless of what time. These people that complain have nothing better to do than complain. I think of the diligence and hard work these folks do, in all sorts of weather, cold or hot, the smell, and the risk they take in their jobs. They suck!!!! They have no courtesy for anyone. They start garbage pick up at 230am every week in Clear Springs subdivision. I have to file a complaint in order for them to stop. I have called and called to have them stop with absolutely no resolution. read more

Just like many reviews, I have not been able to talk to a person and have not been able to set up a new account. You can only leave a message, wait for a call back, nobody answers your call. There is no website where you can order new service, either. I did get a call back, but the number they called from was not the listed number and I didn't answer. I don't answer calls from unknown callers. They left a message. I see no solutions. read more

Shitty customer service. Inconsistent pick up. Super unreliable around holidays. If your pick up day falls on a holiday, expect to have trash until the following week. You'll most likely be overflowing by then and they most likely only pick up with fits in your can and leave the rest for you to deal with... Look them up on Google. Literally NO reviews are positive. Only reason we had hired them was because our landlord gave us the number and said they picked up trash around here. Being so unfamiliar with the area we didn't hesitate. We will think twice next time. Will be changing services once the quarter is over. read more

They get one star because there are no negative stars. Most of my complaints mirror Christina M's. Particularly bad service around the holidays. Virtually no communication with live humans. They have no web site or email. The phone is a voice mail system and messages are never returned. Finally got fed up and called to cancel service. Had to leave a message (surprise) and asked them in the message to pick up our container. No response from the first call. Called back. No response from the second call. Third call a man answers and proceeds to argue with me about why I want to cancel and why I'm being fickle and they have people lined up for their service and on and on. Absolutely unbelievable. These people are horrible. There are too many other companies in the business to have to deal with this kind of crap. Stay away. read more

Update on review from 7/1---Well, they (didn't) do it again. Obviously they have changed their pick up day and forgot to legally/legitimately inform their customers! Once again they came EARLY on a Wednesday night and forgot to inform ANYONE... Technically they owe me now for 2 weeks of NON SERVICE - How am I suppose to know what their pick up day is anymore when they don't answer their COMPANY PHONE or NEVER RETURN PHONE CALLS????? read more

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced, I can't believe these people are still in business. I had my trash out the night before pickup, and they did not stop at my house on trash day. After leaving several messages and finally getting a call back, they called me a liar, told me they were on my street and my trash must not have been out because they picked up everyone else on the street. I watched the garbage truck very early that morning pick up 2 houses down, and I can assure you my trash was out. To argue with a customer, tell them they are wrong (when really these terrible people were wrong) is just pitiful. They made me climb in my trash can to remove all of the trash before coming to pick up my empty can (after I cancelled my service). read more

I've had service w them for over 2 years and have had no issues. I switched to them because my old provider wasn't able to do auto pay on my credit card, and Oneal was. I've had great service with them and they've never missed a pickup. Sometimes they pickup twice a week (not sure why), and have never given me crap about taking away extra items outside my can. I'd highly recommend using this company, they have been superb for me and my family. read more

At the time they were engaged to pick up garbage, it was fine. BUT, I closed my account due to moving, and they charged me anyway for 3 more months. Since it was auto-pay from my checking account, they need to reimburse me. I've now made 4 calls, and they still haven't refunded the $48. read more

I have used Oneal Sanitation for about the past nine months. I chose them because my sister has used them for over a decade (and still does) and has been consistently pleased with their service. I, too, am very pleased with their friendly and great service. When I called Oneal, the upbeat gentleman who answered the phone was very efficient in setting everything up.
