When you're a new customer they roll out the red carpet... But soon that red carpet turned Into an old dusty rug. The policies & procedures of this bank are outdated, relic in nature & waaaaayyyyy too time consuming. Without going into account sensitive details, a dispute process takes 90 days, provisional credits are provided relative to the case. Trying to get card services representatives on the line is even difficult WHEN INSIDE THE BRANCH. I have too many other things to contend with than to have to sit & hold the line, or wait 90 days for a dispute. This just isn't the bank for a busy business person. They're too behind the times. Late & lagging responses from bank individuals. They just recently instituted mobile banking... Good bye. I'll leave y'all for thr snails.

I deposited a check from the federal government, you know the green and yellow one with the Statue of Liberty on it...and could not even get $100 made available to me to get by on for the next week. Granted, I do have another account, but those funds are allocated for auto-draft bills. I now remember why I hate this bank so much. I remember a sketchy practice where they would also post transactions out of order to be able to collect as much as possible in overdraft fees, and if I hadn't taken a screen shot off my account I wouldn't have believed how the transaction time/date and posting time/date had changed. I went to Red River Bank at that time and had no problems with them. I'll be closing this account as soon as possible. I'm also requesting cash withdrawal so I won't have to wait any longer for what is legally mine. Bank somewhere else. HANCOCK WHITNEY IS THE WORST!

There is never a line at this branch, either inside or in the drive though. It is sort of a dreamy banking experience. The only really negative is that it is a bit out of the way from mid-city, but, I appreciate the personal service, and it is worth the small drive to keep my money out of the BIG corporate banking monsters.

I was told to get funds from an ATM and then go to a credit union to make the exchange. I walked in with $100 and was told I would only be able to get $30 in quarters. I asked why not the entire amount and was told that it's because shared branching is a curtesy. I then tried to call my actual bank to get my member # but was on hold for a ridiculous amount of time. A lady walked in wanting to exchange her change and was unhappy with the percentage they were going to charge her for this service. I offered to buy her quarters off of her. It was during this transaction that the manager decided to go ahead and exchange $20 for me. I don't understand why it is so difficult to get quarters.
