They get you in acting like you're going to get a low interest rate on your car loans, they tell you interest rates from like 3.5% of 17% however they can't even tell you what criteria needs to be for what bracket of interest rates. I've never taken out a loan where they couldn't tell me what criteria you to meet to see if you even wanna do business with them. Technically you could have perfect credit and you can meet all the criteria and still get 17 percent interest rate if that's what they want to give you. It is a scam. Stay away from them. They lure you in on false pretense and then can't answer any questions which as a financial Institute they should be able to answer all questions. A car salesman could answer more questions about finance than their own financial institution can answer. They lost my business on that. Could've made a lot of money off my loan, I've been with the banks and their credit cards for over 15 years, I have a personal relationship with finance as well. So this leads me to believe that they have under trained staff. Ignorance is no excuse. For anyone who's reading this, in case you are unaware, as many people are, when they run your credit if you decide to not take out a loan with them, it will drop your credit by 20+ points. If you don't take the loan, it looks like you've got denied. Therefore them not being able to answer your questions properly could result in you dropping into a credit score bracket that you won't be able to get lower interest rates because they suckered you in. If you want to Bank with them, they aren't so bad they have benefits other banks don't have. But it comes the cost because there's only one location in the entire state of New Jersey.

The branch itself is clean, well organized and clearly marked for the service you are looking for that day. You are always greeted by a friendly rep at the door to ensure you're heading to the right place or getting an appointment if you aren't sure. From mortgages to car loans or other banking needs, the advisors are always incredibly patient and knowledgeable. They understand your needs, provide advice or feedback, show you the numbers and potential alternatives, and then set you up for an easy checkout experience. I could not more highly recommend NFCU and this Cherry Hill branch!

Barclays's online statements show me my purchases, payments, refunds, and earned rewards by date. Cash back is 1.529% when the account is linked to a College Savings Plan and 1.25% when it is not linked. Barclays's Spend Analyzer shows me my monthly spending habits such as number of transactions and dollar amount across categories such as restaurants, travel, healthcare, automotive, and others. Barclays also provides me with a free FICO score each month. One time, Barclays did not contact me about a fraudulent purchase, but I thankfully noticed it on my own and called them for a new credit card. For some reason, the employee connected me to the retail store where the fraudulent transaction was made, and he asked me to provide an order number for the fraudulent transaction, although I could not possibly know the order number because I was not the person who made the order! Well, at least in the end, he issued me a new credit card. I have not experienced any fraud since then.

It also informed me that my credit score dropped by 95 points and would stay on my report for 7 years! As someone that has not missed a payment for 35 years, I was shocked! I never received any warning that I was in arrears. I paid the entire balance of $127.32 on the bill immediately. Next, I called Gap/Barclay Customer Support to rectify the issue. I was told that the report sent to the bureau was automatic if they don't see a payment. The rep told me there was an error in the email address on file for me, which the rep fixed immediately. She also told me there were alerts I could set on my account that would let me know when my payment was due, which I didn't know about. I usually pay my credit cards off at the end of the month. Because I don't use my GAP card very frequently, I didn't realize a payment was due because I didn't get an email. I usually get texts, an invoice or emails to warn me, then I schedule the payment in my calendar. I don't feel I should be punished so harshly for what happened. My score has been between 844 - 850 for years and I worked very hard to get it there. I was told there was no appeal process and there was nothing anyone can do. I was furious. I emailed the President of the company and posting negative reviews on Google and Yelp. I will never do business with Barclay's ever again.
