Have you ever heard the Tale of AJ and Enya? I thought not…read more It's not a story customer service usually tells you. It's a legend of Spaces Santana Row. AJ was known throughout the co-working realm as AJ the Efficient; a master of schedules, of printer troubleshooting, of remembering exactly who actually booked Conference Room B. And Enya... Enya was the Calm, the one who could diffuse anger simply by saying: "Let me see what I can do." Together, they maintained balance in the workspace. They could anticipate when someone was about to ask for coffee refills before the question was spoken. They could sense when a guest was about to "just drop in for five minutes" but would actually stay for six hours and rearrange the furniture. They were so powerful... they could even prevent Small Talk. But power like that... is tempting. One day, AJ attempted the forbidden technique: perfect office temperature control, a stable 72 degrees, pleasing to all. Cold-Blooded Laptop Guy... Warm-Natured Sweater Person... Guests from other climates... all would be at peace. But the HVAC... Did not care. And Enya, loyal though she was, could not stop facilities from saying: "We'll send someone to look at it tomorrow." AJ worked to the brink. And eventually... let go. The balance was lost. The thermostat returned to 71... 73... 69... 78... 62... Chaos. Enya learned from this. She understood that some forces cannot be controlled... Only endured. Now she waits. Silent... watchful... clipboard ready... For the next request.

I want to also throw a big shout out to the staff there. The front desk staff are so amazing and friendly. Always welcoming me when I walk in, and super attentive and helpful. A key reason I keep coming back is that unlike other shared workspaces, they make you feel welcome. And that has value.

Its modern interior is decorated with three accent colors: white, green and red. The bright sunlight comes from large windows into the office space, which can be adjusted by blinds. I have been using a dedicated desk for more than one month. The desk is spacious, and it comes with a lockable cabinet. The furniture arrangement makes it easy to concentrate and have a discussion with other members. I worked with members in practicing product demo at a FinTech conference, and they were so helpful. You see other people working hard, which keeps you motivated. There is one large meeting room that has everything you need from a large TV, camera, microphone, whiteboard, etc. There is also one small meeting room for up to 5-6 people. It is also good for sound/video recording. Zed Coworking has a large bean bag and an easy chair for your nap. Also, I enjoy free, hand-dripped, tasty coffee in the kitchen every day. Parking lots are free, unlike in San Jose and in San Francisco. Moreover, many meal choices attract me. You can walk to Mitsuwa market to grab inexpensive bento boxes and drinks. Great access to a variety of restaurants around the Saratoga Avenue as well.

While the space is not that large has comfortable working areas that are bright and welcoming. Ann also makes the space welcoming by being approachable and by sharing special treats. I do wish there were more soft areas ie couches for lounging however the out door patio sort of makes up for that. I loved stepping outside eating my lunch on the patio and overlooking the lively downtown.

The kitchen is equipped with some basics, plates, mugs, glasses, utensils and coffee w/creamers. No tea for some reason. I didn't get a good feel for the place. It was unclear who actually works for the space. The girl working here eventually greeted me, though she seemed far more interested in texting, chatting and watching videos and was annoyed with my rude interruption. When I asked for the rates, she just pointed at a piece of paper, couldn't be bothered to actually have a conversation with me. She didn't tell me anything about the space, just told me to grab any desk that's not reserved. Shortly before 3pm, a sign went up on doors stating that they will be locked until 9am Monday (was here on a Friday). When a guy got locked out and was let back in, the members rolled their eyes and said that "All doors get locked when she leaves".

We have been in business for 22 years and have had many landlords and worked with many property…read moremanagers over the years, but we have serious regrets about moving into our current complex. We moved in last Oct 2022. Rent price is competitive, but security is poor, as we have already had a vehicle broken into. But as another review noted, the real problem is the property manager, Zelia. When we first met her, she seemed friendly enough, and we looked forward to moving into our new office. The day we moved in, she wouldn't allow us to set anything down outside our office door even for 5 min, while trying to organize our furniture, which was challenging to say the least. Later, she told us she didn't want any of our employees standing outside OUR office, hallway or in the parking lot (while waiting for a ride after work), because according to her...that was loitering. A few months later, we had to contact an attorney because she was harrassing us and put up caution tape all around the back parking lot so that our vehicles (which had express permission to park in the back lot - according to the lease) would only park in the spaces where she wanted us to park (under trees that were dirtying our vehicles with debris & bird droppings). This parking lot has about 200 spaces and is mostly empty, and our vehicles are only parked there overnight after business hours. Although we repeatedly asked, she refused to allow us to have any direct contact/access to the landlord, which made us believe she was doing all of this of her own accord, without the landlord's approval. She not only harrasses us, but she is also dishonest, sending us invoices for using our office after business hours-6:30-8:30pm, when in reality our office is closed at 6pm, and one of our employees drops off laundered towels (in less than 10 minutes) after the office is closed. We agree with the other reviewer - "Special Kind of Crazy" and maybe we should add "Control Freak"

Shopped around a bit, wanted to the right vibe, the main decision maker is my dog, so I defer to him. =) Was working my way down the list of dog-friendly spots in the South Bay and really like Satellite's offering. It was one of the more expensive ones but I really liked the summer promo. Satellite favors very walkable locations integrated with food and markets. I didn't realize they had a Pruneyard location, I didn't even realize there was a second floor at all in the center structures. The Sunnyvale spot was okay. A lil too busy and frantic for my tastes. Some of the folks there...should not be there--I'll leave it at that. They were not good coworking space neighbors. Got to Campbell. Day 1, worked a few hours, realized it was awesome and signed on the spot to grab one of the last available spaces. What was the clincher? Just quiet, professional neighbors. BEAUTIFUL central skylight of endless natural light--it's so beautiful. Natural light is far superior to fluorescence, your brain will thank you. Also, Trader Joe's downstairs. Bruh, 'nuff said. Maybe I'm getting old (OH NO, I'm an adult...new sponges and Trader Joe's commute times matter..). Samatha, the manager was really accommodating and took care of us. Wifi, printing, access--all super smooth. The office coffee is excellent, Philz. Someone's keeps disappearing my sparkling sodas but eh, can't win them all. Men's bathroom is in another section of the building, this could be better -- not the greatest, the door jams too. Easy fix, ridiculous they let it just carry on like that. I feel like I've gone back in time three decades cause that bathroom is stuck there. There's also a dope podcast room with a green screen with excellent acoustic sound isolation (and that's coming from a sound engineer and producer). What else? It's just a happy vibe. It feels like stepping back into time in SF Bay Area to happier pre-Covid days. Happy dogs, sunshine, kids running around, outdoor dining, old couples watching the world go by, hot babes coming out of yoga and pilates, ice cream scoops on waffle cones and my poodle hyperventilating like a psycho to say hi to the other dogs. I almost don't want to write this. This quiet oasis needs to stay quiet!
